Before writing this I went through the review by Lmanghat and was pleased to learn that the good time I had at misty mountain is more of a rule than exception . Unlike in Lmanghat's case, mine was a totally unplanned trip and nothing to expect.Ramakkalmedu was my original destination, but because of the thick mist and frighteningly bad road conditions I [ with wife and 2 kids] cut it short & retreated to Misty mountain as suggested by a friend of mine. And what a treat & retreat it turned out to be. After a day in the resort, a common question would be "why do you want to go anywhere else?" You have everything you can ask for inside this vast stretch [1300 acres , I was told] of greenary. Except may be the option of paragliding. But I think they will easily find a place for that also if anyone is interested. I am not going into every detail for fear of repetiton, but will surely say not to miss the waterfall and the early morning view of the hanging clouds from the hill view rooms. The rooms & toilets are not luxurious, but the overall ambience & immense scope for outdoor activities make you forget about the rooms. And not the least, the food , both veg & nonveg tasted good too.
