Deliciously continental cuisine when you need a break from Indian food. This was the best food I've had in a long time regardless of which country. Sunny's is upscale and not for the back-packer crowd. It caters mostly to the local prominentzia and foreign business people. The ambience is modern and relaxed; it could be anywhere in Singapore, Toronto or NYC. The food is a clever mix of East-West-Mediterranean with a dessert list longer than your arm. Everything is fresh and made in-house. I didn't have a chance to try the Quiche, but next time. The Borscht soup was hands down the best I have ever eaten anywhere. Just the right mix of red beets, roasted red peppers, a bit of mushroom, white onion, cumin and a bit of lime just to finish it off and tickle the palate in all the right places. Anybody can throw a piece of meat on the Barbi and call it dinner but not everyone can build a wonderful flavourful soup. My lunch consisted of Imperial Prawns with crunchy noodles and orange sauce that was to die for. They also have a good selection of wines....and wonderful coffee. The service was impeccable and almost a bit fussy as the staff would change the place mat or the cutlery so that every thing was just right. They couldn't do enough for us. It's not cheap, but it's tremendous value for money and a fabulous experience.
