This stop marked a culmination of a 2 week holiday in Sothern india and it was a welcome break. The hotel is in a good location, close to MG road. The rooms are very clean andthe staff is attentive and just excellent. The room is not very big but is adequate with all the appropriate amenities. The see through window in the bathroom is interesting. The breakfast was good with bothe Indian and western fare. i would definietly go back there.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. More importantly the rooms were clean and the location was excellent. We had to extend our stay unexpectedly due to illness and the hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure everything was taken care of for us, including a doctor.

We spent 2 weeks in India (visiting Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mysore, Delhi, Agra, and Mumbai). The St. Marks was second only to the Presidente in Mumbai (NOTE: the Presidente was also over twice as expensive).

I would also highly recommend taking a day trip to Mysore. It makes for a long day, but the Mysore Palace it TOTALLY worth the drive. Perhaps the best thing I saw in India.

After a Long Journey from Manchester to see St Marks driver standing at the departure gate at 2am was an absolute pleasure, he was very courteous and with a big smile showed us to the car and drove us to the hotel. The hotel reception staff were helpful and the check in process didnt take long at all. The room was spotless and furnished to a very high standard. I only stayed at the hotel for 2 nights but the service was faultless. All the staff were pleasant especially the Restaurant manager and his staff who made us feel very much at home after the long trip even offering to make up Parathas specially even though the dish wasnt on the menu. I was transferring hotels on the second day and the travel desk staff were very helpful in showing me where the other hotel was located after a number of failed attempts on my own to find it.
the only minor fault I could find with the hotel was the cost of the minibar items a bottle of water costing more than I would pay at home, although there was a couple of complimentory bottles when we arrived at the room.

A great escape from the busy mayhem of Bangalore.

I stayed at St. Marks in Jul 2000 and again Jul 2008 - after 8 years but enjoyed the stay just as much. Staff are very friendly, courteous and professional - they went out of their way to help my needs. Restaurant staff were very helpful & food was great too (especially Breakfast Buffet. I would recommend St. Marks 100%......I can't find anything negative to say!!
