I've used to stay at this hotel consistently before the new airport came up in the city. Just on MG Road, this is a centrally located hotel, with good friendly service.

The rooms are well maintained, and the facilities are non-obstrusive. Some rooms can be noisy, facing the main road, but the hotel knows my preference for a room away from the main road, and hence I don't have a problem.

The restaurants are pretty decent, and the the hotel breakfast is a good spread.

Overall, an excellent functional biz hotel, and one I would shift back to for my future trips.

“Central business hotel in Bangalore but a bit noisy!”

Stayed for several nights in that hotel. Very good location but then you hear the traffic from the road quite a lot. I had room 314, excellent room with balcony. Pool is also available. Very friendly staff at reception as well as concierge. Very good security before entering hotel amenities. Tried the SPA, also very nice and relaxing. Hotel offers chinese, indian ,european food + Ice bar. You have possibility to have late check out for half cost of a day (very good when you have late night flights. Wifi is really good. I used business center - excellent devices and service. It is a typical business hotel. I got special treatment at the airport on my way back - carrying my bags, filling custom form. Perfect stay.

- Efficient Airport representative.
- Warm and friendly check-in
- Was personally escorted to the room.
- Requested for laundry service which was promptly serviced as per my requirement.
- Very gud service at breakfast and special compliments to the Chef at The eggs station who cooked my order for scrambled effs as per my request and specifications.
- Finally efficient and speedy check out at departure.
- Overall shall recommend and revist the hotel based on my travel plans.

Getting good hotels in Bangalore always involves a lot of planning. This one is hard to get because of the Taj name I suppose. I stayed here for about 3-4 days. My first night there, I couldn't sleep with all the bed bugs. So the next day I asked for a different room. That one was nicer and I could sleep through the night. I had them keep my bags in their locker while I went away for a weekend and it was taken care of, no problems. However, after leaving my bags, I walked up to the front desk carrying a hotel mug with my morning coffee and the guy at the front desk told me I couldn't take their mug for the weekend! I pay $250/night and leave my bags with them, but they couldn't trust me with their coffee mug for a weekend. Go figure! Restaurants are nice, as always a bit pricey. Some of their non alcoholic cocktails are nice (again pricey) but different and enjoyable.

Location is perfect - close to shopping, restaurants etc.
