“Manali - The undiscovered part of Europe in India”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2009

I just got married in the month of Dec 08. Since December end always a peak season for tourism I was finding it difficult to plan my honeymoon. It was then that I found Manali. The place is just fantastic, earlier I when I started I was not sure whether I would enjoy or not. But once I reached there and after spending 9 days it was very difficult to say good bye to the place.

The place is a kind of jewel and if you are looking for fun, adventure or romantic journey it is one of the best. There are many sports activities that you can choose as a reasonable price like tracking, rock climbing, repelling, river crossing, river rafting, skiing and other Ice sports.

The best time to visit manali according to me is at December end when the snow fall starts. The sight of snowfall is just beyond description.

The hotels are good and if booked earlier there is a good chance of getting the discounts that you would wish to have. (Preferably My choice of hotel in manali is – Manali Heights, in log hut area in manali) The marker also is full of various Tibetan goods. One should check it once.

The places to see in and around manali are Hadimba Tample, Manu Temple, Vishast hot springs, manikaran, Buddhist monk, snow point and solang valley.

To reach manali one can take bus from Delhi. The whole budget would not be more than 35000/- per couple for 9 days during peak season.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2008

I sakesh Aggarwal would like to give my review on one of the best places i ever being to. This is the place where i found the real moments of my life and i enjoyed the most.

When I went to manali, I stayed in cottage which was near Rotang Valley. To go to cottage from road their was suspension bridge just under it was water flowing at great speed making lot of noises, i gone there with my family and relatives.what i liked about that place was that the climate their was cool.the cottage was surrounded by mountains,in that cottage there was big garden, chairs were also kept there to sit on.lot of good scenery was there to view from.market was near to the cottage, There was also lot of activities going on infront of cottage like adventure which i enjoyed doing.
In short there the weather was superb, if some body want to enjoy the weather and the adventure should go to this place.
