“Stay and Comfort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

Visited exactly on 1st Anniv of this Hotel. Location is good. Snowy mountains. Rooms are arrite but Moths are a problem in night. New Hotel means its good to stay but important is how they maintain. Food, Breakfast had variety but efficiency has to be there within staff and kitchen by adding some more items. Juices were served on request rather ready on buffet table. Had opted CP plan so dont know about main course on Dinner. But seems arrite and has to go better from this stage. While on web site Garden Lawn seems big but its not. Overall not bad...Location is good.

Senior staff is good and friendly....Mr. Vivek and Mr. Thakur seems exp but 2nd line has to be trained to be friendly.

Recently stayed at this property for a summer vacation.

Location is a plus point as its situated at a peak away from the busy hustles. The view from the room is awesome and they have designed beautifully for all the rooms with one complete glass wall which gives you a majestic view of the snow peak.

Staffs, well trained and know manners. Very good experience.

Rooms, Decent, although i chose the garden deluxe(ground floor), would suggest upper rooms if you want to have a balcony and privacy.

One thing they miss is a health faucet in toilets where a bucket and mug is provided. Its a standard to have the health faucet but again it may not be the trend in north as all the places i saw the same.

Food, a plus point here as its very tasty and healthy as well.

Room Service is very good and i never got any complain.

Over all, a very nice experience.

Room Tip: Chose the upper rooms not the garden deluxe if you enjoy privacy. Garden deluxe will get you the fro...

Hotel Location:
This property is located about 3 Kms from the mall road and about 500 meters from the Hadimba Temple, which is about 5-8 minutes of walk. This is situated a midst the apple orchards & is situated far away from the mad crowds.

Hotel Parking:
If someone has driven down with their own vehicles, there is a small open car park area available, but beware that the last stretch of the road leading to this property is very narrow and only one car can be driven at a time, which can prove a little uncomfortable during the peak seasons considering the large amount of vehicles plying to this property.

Hotel Rooms:
I had made a prior request for a room which had a great view on the higher floors and I could not believe myself that my request was taken so seriously that when Mr.Vivek guided us to our room on the second floor, it was just a WOW experience. The detailing done to the rooms were to the core. I will definitely compare the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms to any of the 3 / 4 star properties, kudos to the team who work in such difficulties also taking into account of the adverse weather conditions prevailing during March & April. The sleep quality was fantastic and the view from our room was simply amazing and the days spent here in this property are to be treasured in future as well.

Hotel Restaurant:
The hotel restaurant is situated in the ground floow adjoining the reception area, which is good and serves some great breakfast spread and a decent dinner which is normally served as buffet. But the Ala Carte menu during the lunch hours served are lip smacking, as I had lunch on 2 days during my stay and all the veg dishes ordered were served hot and was really tasty and the quantity is also large for the price charged.

Hotel Staff:
I really do not even have a simplest grudge / complaints on the boys / staff working here as right from my check in to check out, these guys were fantastic. Even though the climb to the second floor was a bit tedious, they were always there for any kind of assistance with a smile, of course. A big thanks to Mr.Lauder Thakur, as he was the one who always used to respond immediately for the simplest query sent via email and also for the guidance provided by him during my stay in Manali for various sightseeing options was highly appreciable.

Overall:
A must visit property during your stay in Manali, I would definitely will make a visit again in the near future.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms on the higher floor

We chose two nights in THE HIMALAYAN RESORT & SPA and chose one night in Snow Peak Retreat. We Stayed there on 30th April, 2014 and booked Three Rooms for Three Couples with Breakfast & Dinner. The property is on Hadimba Temple Road, which is close to main market The Mall Road. Property is located on high hill road which makes it very beautiful and hills covered with snow can be easily seen from its garden.
We chose suite but they were on back side of hotel. Although deluxe rooms which are provided on reasonable rates are available with balcony and are front side. So choose deluxe rooms not deluxe suite which are very spacious but are on back side of property with no view.
They dont have solar heater system. Hot water is available through geyser system. this is main drawback, coz you have to wait for 20 minutes in you want hot water.
Main thing is there food which is very tasty and there service is also worth every penny.
My advise is Go for it !

Room Tip: Choose Deluxe rooms front side of garden with higher floor.

When we were surfing for a good hotel in Manali, we came across many but the trip advisor review helped us in choosing the right hotel. So hence I zeroed in for this hotel. And true to the review the hotel is neat and clean and the photos which they have provided in their site is the actual photo and not photoshopped. I actually went on 27th April but from my balcony, I could see the snowcapped mountains, the sight of which is mindblowing. In fact the hotel is such that all the rooms are mountain facing.... Added advantage of this hotel is their close proximity to the famous Hadimba Devi Temple which is 5 mins walk. They have a restaurant which satiates the bud of Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are facing the snow capped mountains.... If you in for Super Deluxe room you get comp...

Hotel was excellent in Room service, hospitality, location.
View from hotel balcony is amaaaaazing !!!
From booking, arrival to departure, everything was smooth.
We get more benefits and luxury than expected from Hotel which was added advantage.
Food specially breakfast was a little disappointment but that can take backseat considering we have to travel after it.
Looking forward to visit Manali again for trekking.

Room Tip: Take a room with private balcony. Everything else is great at hotel.

We stayed here from 29th April 14 to 01st May14.The hotel location is amazing, scenic view from room balcony, excellent food. The staff is very courteous, both restaurant and housekeeping - very soft spoken and respecting, with special note of appreciation for Dilip (restaurant guy) and Yograj (the housekeeping boy). The cleanliness is upto the mark. The hotel is maintained very very well in all aspects. Their is attention to detail in whatever they do. People are so well groomed and always smiling and courteous.
Propoerty is managed by four Brothers and which can be easily seen once you take the first step on hotel staircase.
There is flow of positive energy all around the place."Complete Value for money".A special mention for Mr.Luder whom we mostly interacted, he was always around and supported us for every silly requirement of ours.He treats each and every guest with respect and helps them in every possible way to be comfortable not only in the hotel but also during sightseeing and travelling. Mr. Vivek who takes care of the logistic parts of the guests is always guiding guests to visit right places.
I and my family enjoyed every moment in the place. God bless you all.... Keep the good work going and take care of the property the way you have being doing it now.
I am missing out on names but i sincerely wants to thanks other two brothers of their who I think handles the entire back stage activity for smooth Operations of the hotel.
Missing the place a lot and for sure will again visit it in the coming New Years.
Thank you Luder Ji, Thanks a ton. God Bless you and See you soon :)....

Room Tip: Any room is the right room on the Property but rooms we used 121 and 122 are the best....
