I travelled to Manali for a much-needed break from the noise of Delhi in late October. I originally had booked three nights, but after the second night, my husband and I enjoyed Manali and the hotel so much that we added two more nights to our stay. We celebrated Diwali at the hotel, which was beautifully lit for the evening festivities, and the staff greeted us with chai and complimentary desserts when we returned to the hotel after a day of hiking. We enjoyed the desserts on our balcony while the staff and other guests lit fireworks. We also enjoyed watching the fireworks from the valley's villages light up the valley. Our room was amazing- it was a 1st-floor corner room with a very comfortable bed and a wrap-around terrace with excellent views of the mountains, the valley, and the hotel's very pretty courtyard. We had breakfasts on the porch each morning and it was so sunny and comfortable that I could've happily spent all day there. The breakfasts were huge- the English breakfast was especially tasty. Vivek was extremely helpful and the staff was lovely and most hospitable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed being a bit removed from the noise of downtown Manali, and the location near the temples and good hiking was terrific. I look forward to staying here again and recommend it without hesitation.
