A must visit cafe in the mountains of himachal old manali. awesome place specially for musicians from all over the world. its located in the village but dis place has a lot of peace n solitude. no disturbing sounds n a very good crowd of innocent people all around you.loved it. the owners are awesome n they ll make u feel like home . with snow caped mountains dis is the best time to come if you only want to feel the nature around here. we happened to have a random jam session n it was ultimate music trip i ever had. composed a few melodies n tunes while staying here. an awesome place to stay n spend time with your friends.

I recently came from manali and had stayed in Disha Cottage and i find no place than this as peaceful and beautiful.A small and cozy property surrounded by gigantic mountains and waterfalls and lots of Foreigners. Food is in abundance with a choice you wont even find in Chandigarh.
Israeli,Chinese, Korean,Italian and much more and above all no one to disturb you.

Room Tip: Ask the cab directly to Disha cottage and don't forget to mention near Drifters Cafe.Owner -Pras...

Shiva Blues is a great guesthouse tucked away in Old Manali. Peaceful with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains, comfortable beds, and beautifully landscaped with lush plants. The owner and manager were very nice and made us feel at home. A great place to spend some time.

Room Tip: 3rd floor corner room is quiet and has large windows opening to green forest.

I happened to get sick while here, and they made me this old recipe for a spicy drink that really helped out! The food is delicious and they would actually give us pots of chai tea to take to our rooms. There was a music night and there were jamming sessions most nights in the kitchen building that anyone could join if they wanted. There are chairs and balconies on every floor that people just hang out on. The cottage is down a crazy little path, but once you find it, the view and privacy are awesome. 2 sides of the cottage are apple orchards! Super helpful and friendly staff, this was a place I really hope to return to one day.

Room Tip: check to make sure the water heater for the shower works!

It is one of the best places to stay in Old Manali. It is very very nicely located as the view from there is beautiful and is also away from the road that avoids the traffic sound and helps stay at peace. The food was really upto the mark and the staff is really really adaptable. I stayed there for about a week and on the last day i actually felt like I was leaving family behind.. Big ups to the staff..

Relentless tourist season in manali compelled me to walk up the slope of old Manali, through the Manali village and a pathway that led to pure serenity awaiting to be heaved in a puff of smoke in the clarity of the mountains. With a perfectly manicured garden and magnificent views of the mountains- the place is creates a haven especially for catching up with old friends. The hospitality is top notch- a scenario created by the union of like minded people with a vision. The element of music amidst the apple orchards- a true blue feeling achieved. Clean rooms and and simple yet delicious, quality food all comes at an unbeatable price. A great option to use as a base while venturing deep into the Himalayas!
