“Always maintains its charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

A historical place but which has been always so well maintained and well kept that you feel like revisiting. An attraction for children used to be an amusement park which has been demolished now; hope it is restarted.

“fleecing from entrance to exit.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

garden was under renovation and there was nothing to see. Even then, the management was selling tickets. overcharging is name of the place, whether you purchase anything outside the garden or inside. The eating place inside is the real dampener. no menu, no bill, below average quality. you may enjoy the place, if & when there are flowers blooming. Eating at the place is strictly not recommended. Avoid eating at oasis restaurant situated in parking. although run by state govt. , believe me it is just below average, especially in terms of value for money. TIP-Bring your own food for picnic otherwise, be prepared for huge disappointment. don't go in summer season.

“Excellent place to relax and take pictures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

I must say, Yadavendra Gardens is one of the cleanest and easiest to visit gardens that I have seen in India. I visited in February, which is probably the best time to visit. Why I liked the gardens is because :

1. Easy Access : This is just off the Chandigarh-Simla expressway and hence coming from Delhi, the travel was great, as we did not encounter much traffic.
2. Easy Parking : Parking was ample, easily available and safe.
3. Kids activities : There is a camel, horse, train ride available just outside the gate and the kids loved it
4. Fantastic views : The garden is a very beautiful, designed well and provides excellent backdrop for some great pictures. The fountains are very well maintained.
5. Accessibility : The garden is diable friendly and has ramps all throughout. People with prams will love it too..
6. Decent Food : you can get decent food at reasonable prices at the food stalls inside the garden.

All in all a great place to spend 3-4 hours at leaisure, take pics and relax.

“A nice well maintain attraction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

This garden is a very nice and ideal place to spend time with your family. There is nothing particularly extraordinary but overall it is very well maintained.
