“Good to visit after the rains”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

the Lake is fine, but its the climate that matters, choose a cloudy day or when it is raining. The guest house here is good to relax and here you can get a boat and go for boating in the lake.

but if you are planning to stay here for the night, please please please carry some mosquito repellent cream.

“Get back before dark”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Damadama is a good place to go in a large group. Apart from the erratic lake level, the mountains make a good climb and an amazing view. Carry all you need as the only tourist complex SARAS is govt. run and an apology. The villages on both sides for a good 15 km from the highway are very hostile and awaiting trouble. Drive slow, don't make eye contact or stop. One factory installed a water cooler and puts up a listing of dates of over a dozen taps that were stolen by the villagers. Be back on the highway before dark and not really a family destination.

“Nice Picnic spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Located very close to Gurgaon, Damdama lake is a good picnic destination, the last stretch of road is little bad as it passes through the villages but once you reach their you would be glad to see the water body, their are various activities which you can enjoy including, boating, camel ride and recently added hot air balloon, there is a Haryana tourism resort with a restaurant but it is a disappointment, advisable to carry your own eatables..overall worth a visit especially with family and kids...

“A very happening place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

It was an amazing experience visiting Damdama lake. The water was very less though when I visited but I think once should visit after the rains when there is a lot of water. We did lot of activities like wall climbing, Burma bridge, paintball fights etc. It was a great experience which I will cherish for a long time.

“Where the boat hit bottom in the center of the lake”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Not sure where is the lake in this pool of seasonal water puddle.
Our boat hit ground right in the center and the boatman actually got out to push it off.

Good bird life though.

Terribly dirty, crowded and low end guest houses/so called resorts are operating in dirty environment.
Lotta corporates come here for rapelling, Burma bridge/paint ball etc. Not sure where is the charm in all this.

Not recommended at all
