To start off, the hotel calls itself a boutique hotel but is a downright budget hotel. The staff, though polite, does not understand the meaning or the difference between boutique and budget. In the name of parking, they have a huge, uneven ground in the front with no valet. The outside facade is in serious need of a coat of whitewash. When we approached, my first thoughts were to go to lemon tree next door but the amount had been paid so we went ahead. They have a single lift, which refused to take us to our floor. The door wouldnt close completely and the lift wouldnt go. The attendants didnt know what to do, so finally we decided to help them out. For some reason, they have balcony rooms on 2nd floor and not above ! You would want a balcony to get a good view from the top but they didnt have the logic so we left it at that. While making the booking, we had asked for a room with a bathtub but when we checked in, we were informed that we wont get that one since the guest hasnt checked out ! We decided not to argue. The bathroom had used toilet paper roll, which was all yellow and I dont want to guess how. We asked for a fresh roll and they again brought us one, which looked like something had been spilled over it. We actually had to fight to get good, hygienic ones. The only good part besides polite staff, is the food. Compliments to chef. Rest all - avoidable.

We are delighted that you have taken the trouble to review our hotel online, and are obviously disappointed that we did not meet your expectations.
Peppermint Hotels is a budget boutique brand. Our stated promise is that we offer value pricing with a design sensibility that can be compared to those of boutique hotels.
The huge uneven ground unfortunately belongs to the government that none of the hotels, not even our neighbor you mentioned can do anything about. We have petitioned to allow the hotels to take over management of the large grounds, but await a response rather impatiently.
Your other concerns have been taken very seriously, and there has been no stone unturned in ensuring that what needs to be fixed has been attended to.
At Peppermint we strive to offer the best value to our guests, with attentive service, modern properties and lower prices.
We hope to see you at our hotel soon, and at any of our other upcoming locations within India.
If there is anything our team can do for you at anytime please do not hesitate to call upon us.
