We had 4 days package in casablanca . service was very good. accommadation was nice. food was excellent. totally our stay in casablanca was very good. we promote this property to everyone.
There are a lot of food options nearby (again walking distance of 5-10 min). The room was spacious but the design of the......

Room Tip: choose this resort which is close to beach.

We took a suite at the hotel and stayed for 5 nights. The best part about the hotel is its location. Candolim beach is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is one of the quitest and cleanest beaches in Goa. There are a lot of food options nearby (again walking distance of 5-10 min). The room was spacious but the design of the room was average. Although it had a 40" TV, but there wasn't any comfortable seating position for watching the same. However, the room was very spacious and the view was also good (we had a pool facing suite on the 1st floor).

The breakfast was average with not many options to choose from. The staff was courteous and the pick-n-drop facility provided by the hotel was very convenient.

All in all, a great place to stay in north Goa!

The hotel was offerring really good off season rates and hence, we book for a family of 5 for 16th Aug 2012. The location of the hotel is spot on with it being just about 200m from the beach. Infact during the night you can hear the sea splashing. The rooms were clean with a/c. The linen was slightly dirty at some edges but being Indian we can adjust to that :) The bathroom had all the toiletry and was clean with 24 hrs hot water available. So that was all the good part about the Hotel.

What shortcomings we noticed was firstly the hotel has a complicated room unlock system, wherein you need a key card swipe, but the cards are so worn out that one of the rooms door did not open. Some members of our family had to wait in our room for almost 20mins before the helper got a emergency key. The irony was that when we went for dinner the key was forgotten inside the room and since the key card does not work, we again had to wait for some manager to complete his diner to get the master key card. Now when you are in hospitality industry you are expected to be prompted at anytime.

The other funny and a little annoying part is there were no intercom facility in the Terrace Rooms that we got. We always ended up dialing through mobile the hotel board number and those guys were relaying the requests to the restaurant. I am not too sure if it was just our rooms did not have the phones or its the same with all the rest of the terrace rooms.

The other annoying part is the time it takes to get the food on the table, on one night we had to wait almost 40mins to get a simple food as Aloo Paranthas. It was not a one nite but every meal we had to wait for long whenever we had food in the hotel.

Since we went in off season it did not annoy us that much on these short comings but during season when you are paying close to 6k for a room, i am not too sure how you would like such a service.

Room Tip: Please take terrace rooms as it offers good view and gives you a chance to have your own large balco...

We stayed here couple of nights and it was our second visit to Goa. Well aware of the places, we were bang on concerning the location. It is 2-3 mins walk from the beach, infact, on a calm weather you can hear the sea from the hotel. The rooms are clean and bedsheets etc., hygienic. We visited during off-peak season and got a good discount. The management of the hotel is another plus-point, Mr. Sheldon was all ears to problems or small-issues one faces during the stay. I once asked for iron and hair dryer and it was immediately provided. I think such small things play a big role in making your stay comfortable. Coming to not-so good feature, swimming pool is small and during our stay no relaxing benches or any other sitting arrangement near to the pool was present. When asked, it was told that it's not there due to off-peak season. The room are made up of thin walls and one can hear easily if people are loud and the fun is spoiled even more when a rowdy group is there in swimming pool (which unfortunately happened with us). Apart from these situational problems the hotel offers a little more than basic stay close to beach.

Even though it was an off-season period, the resort was well managed, with attention to detail.
All the facilities were operational, with the staff being courteous and helpful. The place is located in close proximity to the beach & the action-packed Candolim area, yet in a serene and tranquil setting. The restuarant could do with some additions for morning breakfast, but would give them benefit of doubt, considering the probable low occupancy during the lean period. Overall a good place to chill!!

Room Tip: Speak to Sheldon the manager

Had an excellent stay at casablanca for 2 nights. Awesome food excellent service and superb spacious rooms completely relaxing way to spend the weekend We did not mind traveling out so spend most of the time in casablanca and on the beach which is hardly 2 minutes away from the property. Totally happy with the stay and totally worth. Another point to mention is you get awesome food at casablanca. Planning to go back for a longer stay quite soon.

Room Tip: Try to get a suite

Casablanca - I'd say was the find of my Goa trip this monsoon. Well, you know this being the off-season of sorts - was basically looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in, kick-off my shoes and spend some quality time with the wife. Casablanca provided just that. We booked a suite room - the other option is a terrace room (btw totally recommended for summers).
The rooms are spacious, well maintained, odorless - monsoons bring out crazy odors in Goa.
The reception staff is excellent. The restaurant food is average. Walking distance to a lot of eating joints close by and the beach is just a stone's throw from Casablanca.
Overall would recommend it to all my friends. Getting to the resort is a task if you have no transportation of your own. Get a bike/ car on hire - makes it easy to get in and out of the resort.

Room Tip: Top floor Rooms in "Maria" have a direct ocean view.
