“O experience!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

pleasant stay, nice ambience, lovely food, very very warm welcome, well mannered staff...wl luv to come back.Hotel Reception is little inside the hotel from the main gate, but need not to worry as they have this buggies which will take you to the reception in royal way with sticky red drink in hand. This is really a great place to forget your cares and relax. The staff were friendly, the prices reasonable, the beach close by and the hotel clean. If you're looking to stay in Candolim without the expense of the Taj or the more rustic offerings of guest houses, this is the hotel for you.
There is nothing at all to complain.

On arrival (once we'd made it through the security scanners), we were whisked through the hotel on a golf cart to reception, checked in, shown to our rooms and left to acclimatise, sticky red drink in hand.

Set in a U shape, with the bar/restaurant forming one side, the two wings of the hotel, separated by tropical plants and trickling water features, open out onto well groomed grounds that run to the sea.

With a plunge pool to cool off in, and comfortable recliners to bask in, this is a great place to forget your cares and relax.

The staff were friendly, the prices reasonable, the beach close by and the hotel clean.

If you're looking to stay in Candolim without the expense of the Taj or the more rustic offerings of guest houses, this is the hotel for you.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms are worth the premium to be off the rat run between restaurant and the rest of the h...

What you see on the internet is what you get in reality, absolutely fantastic property blended with luxurious comforts of truly starred standards. It was our monsoon break June 2014 and we knew that were to head off to GOA for sure, initially we had Vivanta By Taj (Fort Aguada) on our mind but due to last moment rush we couldn't get the property which in way I am glad we could not as we discovered " The O Resorts & Spa ". Both me, my wife and our daughter loved out break at the resort, be it from the exceptional courteousness of the staff to the up-keeping of the property especially in monsoon, everything was just splendid. Complimentary Breakfast on go was very nice as it variety everyday, food from the restaurant (room service) was also very nice. The USP for the resort is its location which is in the heart of Candolim and have their private access to the beach, swimming pool is decent enough for a quick swim or to splash around with the kids. I am delighted to say that it was an excellent stay and would love to go back to the resorts sometime soon.

Room Tip: The overall stay was excellent, key highlights per to say were the location, breakfast, ambiance and...

I'm amazed by the fact that there are such great reviews for those hotel. Firstly in today's day and age the hotel had not trained the staff on how to smile. A grumpy bunch who don't want to work hard.

Request for something at a buffet to a waiter and he will reply back saying "self service, take in your own". The lights keep going off. Had to call housekeeping twice to fix. Once electricity went for 10 minutes with no generator and no UPS.

About kids, who travel to goa with us regularly, even they comment saying this the worst hotel ever. The lifeguard at the pool again contender for most grumpy award. 4 bananas cost 300Rs. But an Apple and request housekeeping to send a knife and they say "come to the restaurant yourself and we will and give. No milk by glass, but while pot of milk for a kid.

I have no idea what this place is all about. One thing for sure...never coming back.

We stayed in O hotel last july and it was a pleasant stay. Service was great and rooms were clean. It rained mostly around july so most shacks were closed. Just one open. We usually strolled on d beach at nite and even used the spa one of the days.. it was a relaxed holiday and overall experience was good.
