“Small, but nice surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

The zoo is tiny, they'll even tell you it's the smallest certified zoo in the US. It was a nice break from the desert and the snow, and provided a nice playground for the kids. We saw no workers until it was time to leave, which was odd but fine I guess. They use an honor system to pay the admission, which means you need to have cash on you.

“Very cool little zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

What a neat little town zoo. They do charge a minimal amount of money to get in- a couple of dollars. But it is a nice smaller zoo. They were doing construction on one part of the zoo when we were there- but there was still a a lot for us to see. I would say an average visit is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours long. You must get some food to feed to the birds for a quarter!

“Cute and Quaint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Price is right reminds the wife and I of a zoo back home we used to be taken to as kids. All the animals are within camera shooting distance. Looked like they may have been expanding or remodeling. Just a nice quiet stroll with the wife. Time wise that's up to you I think we spent 2 or 3 hours there like I said relaxing stroll watched the animals, talked to the animals, and enjoyed the afternoon breeze and each others company.

“Nice place or a relaxing stroll.”

This zoo is nice and has a lot of nice things and animals for adults and children. Enjoyed the ease of the walk through and animals displayed. Reasonable admission fee.

“Who knew this would be nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

This was a nice little zoo for a town of 30,000. We went through it in less than an hour and it was less than $10 for our family of 4 to visit but it was really nice. There is a lot of room for the kids to run around and have fun plus a playground. Definitely a great place to visit.
