“Well kept!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014 via mobile

Very informative. The place has been well maintained over the years. Every piece & the photograph from the era gone by has a story to tell. Loved it there. Felt like I was part of that historical time when Chandigarh was being planned. Super like it!!!

One of the most amazing and imaginative site I have seen. A must to see if you come to Chandigard. Nice walk after the rose Garden.

“La Corbusier lives on”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

The designer of the city of Chandigarh lives on in his erstwhile office through his artifacts, his illustrations, pictures, architectural designs and even his furniture. A very well conserved heritage, you only wish there was a guide to take you through the history.

“The Conceptualization and Creation of Chandigarh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Visit to learn how India's only planned city was created by The French Architect, Post independence. He was a visionary, architect, sculptor and artist and there are numerous visual examples of his art.

“Perfect documentation of the man who planned the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This is one place you cant afford to miss if you loved the planning and the buildings of the city. Visit the Le-corb center to find out who the man is, what he thinks and how he communicated with Indian beauracrats to get the city and its star buildings built. Its a small museum with collections of his drawings, paintings and his letters to different political and government officials.
Make sure you take the address with you as the locals and auto drivers hardly know of this place.
Tip - Do visit the souvenier shop for execellent collection of shirts, mugs, copy of Le-Corb's paintings etc
