The revolving restaurant in Patna, Pind Balluchi as it is known, is one of the pioneer restaurants with the all around view of the city while you dine. The restaurant is situated on the top floor of Biscomaun Bhawan near Gandhi Maidan, just a km or two from the station and stone's throw from Maurya Hotel. The restaurant specialises in Punjabi food. Dahi Kebab is one mouthwatering starter to taste. The tandoori items are a delight to savor on. In the main dishes Lachcha paratha would be the best Indian bread to break with spicy matar paneer (cottage cheese with green peas) or paneer butter masala. The mushroom dishes dont turn out too well on all occasions. In case its winter Makke ki roti and sarson ka saag would be the best bet. A signature dish of the Punjabis, when it comes to veg.
The best part of the restaurant is the slow revolving base of the restaurant. only the eating area goes for a spin covering the whole circumference in about an hour. To get that different dining experience in Patna, this is the one place. Happy eating while in rotation.
