“Nice place with good food and best connectivity to places around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

This property is almost in the heart of the city and is very nicely maintained. They serve very delicious food in their restaurant. I will surely recommend this hotel for anybody who is planning for a business trip. It has the best connectivity to places around.

We are family, but given a joint room, which is separated by a door, by which we can here wat other room ppl are talking. They are guys, who smoke and drink all night, so with family 1 night i had a horrible experience. Reception there is a lady who not even greeted with a smile, poor receiving by the receptionist and odd answering. Remaining everyone are cool and good, except that lady.

We stayed for a night at Budhil Park - Vizag enroute to Jagdalpur.
The hotel is in the centre of a busy place and known by most autowallas.
It costed approx Rs 300 from the airport to reach the hotel by a prepaid cab.
We stayed in Deluxe room booked through Make My Trip. The room is neat and spacious.
Bathroom had all the toileteries.
The staff is cordial and can arrange cabs for local site seeing, but I am sure they are overcharging for it.
We had lunch at the restaurant downstairs. The price is very reasonable for a Bangalorean and the Ulava chaaru was amazing.

There are so many high end hotels near to Beach, however, this is a very good hotel for stay and worth the money.

Stayed there from 20th to 23rd Dec, 2012 on a family tour to Vizag and Araku. Its a nice hotel with great hospitality. the service is prompt and staffs are very cordial.
Booked two rooms through make my trip on Oct. But was surprised to find a single room being confirmed. Fortunately we had the confirmation mail from make-my-trip. However, the reception was very co-operative and they handled the issue nicely and instantly.
Service was good. best part was the food from the restaurant. it was excellent. the complimentary breakfast had a lot of options.
Travel desk arranged cars for us for the local as well as Araku trip. Vasu, the person co-ordinating was a nice guy. However, i feel that they do charge you more than usual rate, so do plan and book your tour beforehand instead of relying on the travel desk.
Location wise wasnt that great but overall it was a nice and cozy stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: 1. Do not book cars from here. In case you do, negotiate. 2. Rooms are more or less the same.

Stayed at Budhil park in the last week of August 2012. We checked into a royal category double occupancy room. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Ditto for the room service folks. I had an impression that the wifi network maybe slow and may open up only a few select websites. But , i was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it fast, almost all websites/pages necessary for my work opened up. I initially had a problem with the connection cord but the room service folks quickly replaced it. Nice, friendly atmosphere at the hotel. The room was very good, all amenities from an inhouse-bar/fridge to a coffee maker etc were available. They have a complimentary breakfast for guests and a buffet lunch priced at Rs 180.

Coming to the room design, I found the bathroom a bit too cramped for space. Theres a glass panel which separates the rest room/toilet area from the bath area. They could have made it better considering the quality and grandeur of the room but I guess they can do nothing about the designing aspect now.

Coming to the food aspect, the food was not that spicy as is typical of andhra cuisine and is good. The food items are priced high, but this is a star accommodation and that can only be expected. However, I being a vegetarian found the vegetarian options a bit too dull and missing on popular varieties. I also missed a thali/platter which is generally available in most hotels/restaurants.

Coming to the location, its located near the flyover at Siripuram. Autowallahs will charge about Rs 60 to get to this hotel. There are no metered autos in Vizag. They fix a price and you pay it. They charged 40 Rs for a location which was about a km from the railway station. Theres an ATM - Canara Bank bang opposite the hotel but that didn't accept SBI debit card from Bangalore. Most ATMs generally do. Had to walk to the main road and turn right to access ATMs of HDFC, ICICI, SBI etc. Found missing panels on the pavement which exposed the drain. An unsuspecting fellow might easily go in. This is something which the civic authorities have to take care of ..nothing concerned with Budhil park but thought of mentioning it while describing the overall locality the hotel is in. Theres also a small Shirdi sainath shrine right in front of the hotel. Me being a devotee, found this extremely surprising and comforting. All in all, a good experience worth every penny that I paid. Recommend this hotel for future visits. One of the best star facilities at Vizag.

It's a well maintained hotel about 3 years old. Been staying there ever since they first opened, and the experience has always been good. I've stayed nearly 70 days so far and have seen things to be quite consistently good. Fairly spacious rooms and tastefully done interiors in general. Wish they had bigger better ventilated bathroom though. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Very safe even if you're staying with family. Food is a bit spicy and oily as in most places of Andhra. But it doesn't give you a bad stomach. It's located about 3 kms from the beach and in a very busy part of the town near the bus stand. But once inside the hotel, it's quite serene and nice. Since I'm a regular there, they give me special rates and are accommodative.

Room Tip: Take the more expensive club room if you want bigger bath with exhaust and they might give you a dis...

Well located with good access to all major parts of city. Rooms are of good size with a comfortable bed and a very reasonably priced mini bar. Bath room was a bit congested and not very clean. Floor corridor need some cleaning.

Breakfast is very simple and completely south Indian stuff apart from corn flakes. Could not try other meals. Had an issue with my door lock and had to call the maintenance every time I need to unlock! Hope it gets resolved soon.

On the whole, one of the very good options for business travellers.
