Gokul's got a certain global recognition post the bomb blasts that occurred there, but that doesn't change the fact that it has some of the most acclaimed and best of Hyderabad's street food.
Most of us locals believe that it lost its touch post the blasts but tourists have a different say to that.
Please note : Extreme amounts of calories, fat, oil, cholestrol and spices await you through the door of this place. But trust me, if you're visiting Hyderabad and have not been through this place, then you're stay is not worth it.
The Ambiance is highly disappointing, well what do you deserve from a street food serving place, but the staff is friendly. The crowd seems as if the owner is distributing food for free, but if your patient enough your turn will come in about 10 to 15minutes, depends on how accustomed you are to pushing and pulling amidst hungry Indians.
Gokul Chat Bhandar has now opened, a set of other sections for family etc.
I suggest don't go for the Paani Puri there, instead try the Mirchi Bhajji, Kulfi etc.
P.s : Please keep some candy and sweets by your side, a splurge of spices await you.
