“Sad story of all Indian history”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Cannot imagine the apathy of the general public and the government in preserving and maintaining historical sites and buildings. Such disregard for cultural inheritances is indeed shameful for all of us Indians.

The monument is nice and beautiful but for the locals its just another roundabout in their busy day.... could be better managed.

“Charminar Tourism”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Charminar in the one of the best places to visit if one has the taste of visiting historical places. Charminar in Hyderabad was constructed in the year 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutab Shah to mark the end of plague in the Hyderabad city. One can find shopping bazaars which offer at whole sale prices where in you can find clothes, pearls etc. Golconda fort is one more historical place to see in hyderabad.
