It was my first official trip in my life. So was already very much thrilled with the next day's presentation and deals. So to be calm was foremost important on the eve. So i already got the room booked in the hotel, which my company has recommended. I got a direct reception at the airport, which is much outer from the city. Bt after being in the cab (of the hotel) it was no more my responsibility left. The good thing is they had arranged everything already and aptly. So within 5 mins the receptionist could provide me the room. The room was much pleasant. Good view of the traffic from the fifth floor. But with a closed curtain, it was like me in my personal destination. The cushions I found were smelling. So I requested them to replace them. they did it quickly. one more thing which I found disturbing is the washroom outlet. They designed it in such a way that there was no outlet provided other than the bath tub. It looks weird, and so it was, bt it was like this, cant help it.
Rest all things were grt.
If you go there, never forget to hav the breakfast in the groundfloor lounge. Its really refreshing, and very delicious, with lots of variety. Girls can also make some quick shopping at the pearls store. Its in the market rate only as I surveyed the rate for that in the city elsewhere. It has 1 more resturant in the first floor but thats dedicated for the meals stuff. Its no special, as this quality of food is available every where.
Bt the main thing of the hotel is its location. Practically in the heart of the city. You can move anywhere in the city whithin 1 hour, nomatter howmuch outskirts it is located. So for business deals, I would really advise this hotel, but definately not for romantic stuffs.

Dec/Jan is the right time to visit Hyderabad and so we were there during Jan-2006. We booked a double room at Quality Inn Residency which I suppose is in the heart of city. Location wise this is found very close to Husain Sagar Lake, Birla Mandir and other places. The entrance to this hotel is slightly shooby but once you enter inside, you will feel comfortable. The reception area is posh and nice. We found our room comfortable even though it was not very huge (may be other types of room would be spacious). The highlight of the hotel is the quality of the food served which truly justifies the name "Quality Inn". They had arranged a special buffet dinner on the eve of 26th Jan (republic day) and the menu, taste, setup was out of the world. We thoroughlly enjoyed it.

The hotel is well located, just opp the Railway Station.

The travel desk was useful for organising our sightseeing tours.

The food was excellent, especially their lunch buffet was value for money. However, do not try their regional specialities in a-la-carte menu to avoid disappointment. Stick to the tried and tested Punjabi / Chinese.

Jan 11, 2009 | Trip type: Couples

My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn recently during our tour of southern iIndia in December 2008/January 2009. The direct Lufthansa connection from Frankfurt to Hyderabad was one of the main reasons for checking out this particular city, which is a little off the typical tourist track. However, there are several interesting sights to see there.

The first impression of the hotel is the spacious lobby, which impresses by the daylight streaming in from the skylight. The reception desk and restaurant are decorated with an Italian theme (is Italy a dream destination for Indians one may ask), but is tastefully done. Our room (222) was light and spacious with plenty of space for hanging up and storing clothes. The double bed has one of the best mattresses I´ve ever had the pleasure of sleeping on ! The LCD TV mounted on the wall opposite the bed was a pleasant extra, providing news, sport and movies (HBO) in English.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in the room. A small fridge (not a mini bar) is also in the room. Hot water is available throughout the day.

The staff are exttremely helpful and friendly, be it at the reception or in the restaurant. The ratio of waiting staff to guests is very high, so plenty of attention is guaranteed. You are always greeted with a big smile. There is a varied breakfast buffet, which is included in the price of the room. Most non-Indians have problems starting the day with Indian food, but there are plenty of alternatives (vegetarian only ): fruit juice, fresh fruit, toast, butter and jam, as well as hot tomatoes and baked beans. Try the semolina "porridge"- delicious !

The more up-market vegetarian restaurant in the hotel complex offers a good lunch buffet and an à la carte menu in the evenings. Also In the evenings, a vegetarian buffet and snacks (also beer) are available in the restaurant at the side of the lobby where breakfast is served.

Another pluspoint of the hotel is their 24-hour check-out policy. We flew out of Hyderabad on a Lufthansa flight at 2.20 a.m. As we had checked in at 7.00 p.m. two days previously, it was convenient to check out at 7.00 p.m., put the baggage in the hotel´s store room, have dinner and a drink then slowly make our way to the airport. I can sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay.
