The hotel is called Rukmini Riviera and the restaurant in the hotel is called Dwaraka if I am not wrong. I had eaten there for 4 days in a row and was left wanting more.
Unbelievably good food: The most sinfully delicious South Indian food I have ever eaten. Perfect and super tasty so much that all I wanted to do was just to keep on eating all day long. Lip smacking, finger lickingly delicious food.
Nice Ambience: The restauratnt is centrally a/c and is well laid out. With huge screens showing movies, sports and music. Also it is comfortably laid out and makes dining here a pleasant experience.
Excellent service: Prompt and warm service makes you want to go back there
Amazing value for money: To top the brilliant quality of food, it is also extremely reasonably priced. Wont burn a hole in your pocket. Pls note that they add service charge in the bill itself and hence it's ok to not leave additional tip over and above the service charge.
Sumptuos Breakfast Buffet: The restaurant has a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. Cornflakes, cut fruits, fruit juices, bread jam and butter, Idli, Vada and dosa, tea and coffee... :-) the only thing I did not like too much was the super short timing. The buffet ends @ 9.30 am sharp and those travellers who have gone to relax may have to rush in and finish their breakfast before 9.30 am
Not so Good:
Struggle to find any. If you press me hard to think, then I think the restaurant struggles a bit with service when it gets full, which is pretty often. The waiters seem to lose it when pressed hard. Not lose their temper, but the otherwise efficient service standards dip a bit. Food quality also dips (only a little bit) when it gets full and the chef is loaded with multiple orders to process.
Try and avoid peak times which is 9 - 9.30 am for breakfast and 1.30 - 3 pm for lunch, especially on weekends.
Overall, a rocking place to eat. Will go there as many times as I can and wil strongly recommend this to all.
Note: The restaurant is pure Veg. Jain Options are not available. So Non-Vegetarian eaters and Jain Food eaters, please look elsewhere to fill your tummy. Also, Sodexo food / meal vouchers are accepted here...!!!
