This restaurant - as with many in India - is called a "hotel", but it is only a restaurant and not a hotel in the conventional, western sense of the word. It is located in Aberdeen Bazaar, in central Port Blair very near to Azad Lodge (hotel), and the bus station.
Standard Indian cuisine is available from early morning until late evening. Idly, dosa, uttappam, thali meals, and all the regular vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are served. A pastry shop next door is part of the business. Tea and coffee are served, as well as soft drinks.
The food is very good, the place is reasonably clean, and the service is efficient and friendly. Prices are incredibly low.
