“My honeymoon trip stay in Palm Grove Eco Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

My first interaction was with Rupesh after we landed on Port Blaire. I could never forget the way we were greeted! Soon after we rode through the beautiful city and reached Palm Grove. Sathya, the manager was extremely good and welcoming. I went to Andaman unplanned about our journey, but he carefully chalked out our trip plan. The food served was very good and the attendants were extremely prompt. We had buffets daily and the rates were very nominal. There were 24 hrs running hot water too. I basically had no complaints and would try to book the same place on my next journey during November end . Again, this time of the year was suggested by the owner Mr Shibu Varghese, a very simple living man.

Room Tip: Just ask the manager...he is very helpful!

I stayed in the hotel last two days of my trip here. I am left spellbound at the ambiance of the place. The owner is creative. The hotel has rooms for everybody - whether your paying capacity is 500 of 3000 rupees per night. Every room is environmentally sensitive and the furniture and household articles are of good quality. The hotel runs a very cheap restaurant where you can get stomach full food in 100 rupees. They will also provide you extra items provided that you are willing to pay. Not a bad deal!
Only thing i did not like is the early check out process which is 8 A.M in the morning. You should consider this before booking the hotel.

As the name of the hotel suggests, it is an environment friendly hotel in real sense. The location of the hotel is great. It is just 15 minutes drive from Airport and the famous Clover's beach is around 5 km. There are different type of rooms. We stayed in a Canal AC room. The design of the interior inside is really good and the furniture and and facilities provided are of satisfactory quality.
The restaurant is very ordinary but offers a good buffet mean for a mere hundred bucks. The simple complimentary breakfast should not disappoint you considering the fact that you pay much less in the resort as compared to other resorts in Port Blair.
On downside, the hotel is a bit crowded and full will group travelers. The check our process too very early (8 AM).

Room Tip: all rooms have their own advantage.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel for a week.We were a group of 20 relatives and each one was happy with the place. The resort is full of greenery and well maintained plants. The staff especially the manager Mr Satya was very courteous and always willing to help. The daily tours were very well coordinated by him.The rooms are reasonably good and food though simple was satisfying.

Room Tip: The a/c canal top rooms we occupied were nice enough.

Its a great place to stay in Port Blair. The main point is its owner and the staff who is awesome. Good hospitality. Good food and beverage. Hot water supply.. Owner Shibu is really helpful in arranging local travel and all. The staff is very polite and room service is quick and one of the few places you can find good fish dishes here. When we left resort guys even arranged a see off at airport. Awesome guys.. Thanks

Room Tip: Ask for new AC cottages which is elevated from where you can see fish when you take a zip of drink i...

It was memorable stay at palm grove eco resort. we were a group of forty members and stayed at the resort for a week in the month of May-2012. Quite easily there of difference of opinions in such a large group over the facilities provided, but none in the group has complaint for any thing, whether it is accommodation, food or the behavior of the staff.

Nice hospitality and a great stay.

This resort is at some distance away from the centre of Port Blair.
The resort is secluded and the staff are courteous and very helpful at all times. There are a variety of rooms to suit every budget, but I stayed at a tree house that was large and had all the modern amenities. The tree house was kept spotlessly clean.

They organised all the trips for me around the island @ Port Blair and made arrangements for me to visit Havelock too. For the time I was at havelock, the resort kept safe and sound some of my extra belongings. On the day I was leaving Port Blair, the cook came in specially to cook some sea food that I could take back along with me.

Highly recommend a stay @ this hotel whilst in Port Blair.
