“Famous Adjarian Hachapuri is worth trying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We were recommended to go there by our Georgian friends and they advised us to try Adjarian Hachapuri with egg and butter (on the photo).
We ordered Chrtma ( chicken soup) with lavash (Georgian bread) and Adjarian Hachapuri as it was recommended. Our Georgian friends told us that we should try Adjarian Hachapuri only in Batumi as it is Adjara Region. The place was overcrowded, because of bed weather and rain nobody wanted to sit outside.
It was very crowded but nevertheless food came fast. The waiters were rather absent-minded and not attentive.
But the food was delicious and hot, special thanks to the chef. The bill was not high for the restaurant, Adjarian Hachapuri cost GEL 6 (approx EUR 3). Mind that they add 10% tax to the bill and it is a tax and not tips.

“Nice meal, terrible service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Allthough the food was quite nice, the experience was one of the typical tourist restaurants. A lot of waiters running around paying no attention to you. They brought out the wrong dish, and allthough you told them to charge for the dish you ordered, still putting the more expensive dish on the bill. And when you pay, they round up the change they give you back in their advantage so you get less back... I hate these kind of places...

“Worth going”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Adjarian cuisine is probably very good, but it is not easy to find a place, at least if you do not have a georgian friend. We spent two weeks in Batumi and this is the only restaurant we want to remember. Notice that we were kept in this place by a georgian collegue of mine. The service is very good in general, but I am very disappointed of the fact that, keeping out my phone from my pocket, I left 170 GEL on the table for a moment (ok, my fault...), stood up for the phone conversation, and coming back to the table my money had flown. I did not have the heart of complaining, I did not want to ruin the dinner.
The food is very good. Hard to forget: 1) the lamb, 2) a kind of lasagne with a kind of quark-cheese, 3) a small pot of ragout with a egg. The ubiquitous kachapuri here was served hot and was very good. Ask for a jug of COLD white wine. It can happen that people begins to dance or sing, the atmosphere is nice, the waiters smile (probably with your money in their pocket, (-: JOKE).

“Boregi - the best dessert ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Everything is nice - nice place and view, delicious meal, friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend to try Boregi - traditional dessert, smth like baklava.

“OK Food and Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

This restaurant is not bad but just OK. We were tourists looking for Georgian food and this place certainly has a long menu of it. However, we felt the food was not as tasty as Shemoikhede Genatsvale and the restaurant on the 20th floor of the Sheraton. The service was attentive but without a smile.
