“Loved the gambian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

The first meal I had here was the beef domada, and it was really good and had the right level of chillies to pass the "20 minute tingle test" so the next time I tried the chicken yassa and that was very good so I had to go for the full set and try their fish benechin and that was great too. It was different to the other benechins I have had as instead of having chunks of fish in a soupy sauce this was a nice fillet with the sauce poured over. I meant to try the pasta or other dishes but always found myself ordering from the Gambian section, great value too as all 3 were only 195 dalasi as compared with 300+ dalasi at other places on the strip. There is also a good range of desserts and liquor coffees too.

“Good breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by someone we were staying with and we wasn't disappointed! The full breakfast which my husband had was reasonably priced and was as close to an English breakfast as you can get! If your looking for a good breakfast whilst in Gambia I would definitely recommend this place!

“Excellent breakfasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

Harleys had the best breakfasts eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and coffee. Lamin is an excellent chef we had steak there one night, lovely and moist. Jill and Lamin are lovely hosts who always come and talk to you and make you feel so very welcome. Highly recommended.

Jill look after Stumpy for us and let us know now and again how he is. xx
