“A Great Adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We took advantage of doing the walk one way with a guide....that is we took a boat ride out to a water fall beyond the walk path....then back to the river intended for the walk. Our tour guide, a young gentleman from the village was great....especially high diving off the upper water falls. He was very knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna. We were treated to a local village hunter return after successfully getting a wild boar. Well worth the time and cost to visit this attraction.

“very wild and beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

to be honest, we couldn't do it because of weather and the lateness of the hour. But we could tell that it is awesome, wild and beautiful and we surely would, if we could.

“Long trip diverting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

My wife and me went out for the Lavena Coastal Walk. First part of the trip is a hardly one hour ride through the open sea with a canoe. Very exciting and our guide was singing and teaching us Fijian songs - we had a lot of fun. After we landed, we walked through rain forest surrounding to a waterfall. Fresh clear water and a stony slide, if you want. After a rest we walked the whole way back through the forest to the starting place. Our guide was a funny guy, who explained us a lot and made us laughing. Altogether we had 4 refreshing hours in the nature.

“Light and fun exercise through luscious surrounds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

This is a stunning venture down a relatively easy track. It takes a couple of hours to go in one direction. You are rewarded with lush mountain jungle on one side, and wind and wave shaped volcanic rock on the other. At the end of the trek is a double waterfall to enjoy. The return journey can be done by walk or a boat organised beforehand which will take you also to a couple of other waterfalls unreachable by foot.

“Costal kayak then walk back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

The costal kayak was a wonderful way to get a new perspective on the island. We got a workout, saw the island from a new vantage and got to see an amazing waterfall up a river. After visiting the first waterfall, only accessible by kayak, we did the costal walk back. The walk was an easy 3 miles with beautiful scenery and an awesome suspension bridge. The kayaking was my favorite part of the trip. I'd highly recommend kayaking up and walking back. The ocean kayak wasn't an advanced level and the guide will let you go at your own pace. If you're feeling seasick or tired you can always get in the boat the accompanies the trip. I wouldn't recommend the kayak for small children but 10 and up should be fine depending on the weather
