We are a young couple on holiday for the first time together and loved every minute of our stay at the Saint George Three Corners.
Where do we start?
- Upon Arrival, we were late to the hotel due to bus transfers although the buffet restaurant was kept open to ensure all arrivals had a meal, which was ideal because we were both starving after a long day of travelling. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, polite and were able to answer any queries we had during our stay.
- Rooms, we had two single beds in our room, which was situated within close proximity to the main road and sewage plant HOWEVER none of the above were a problem! We did not hear any noise or smell any bad smells from the sewage plant. Also, the main road wasnt a problem because the gardens blocked the view although did allow us to see Tiran Island from our balcony.
The single beds were huge and our room was always clean and tidy once Mohammed, our cleaner, had finished. He was also very friendly and very artistic when it came to towel art - we had so many different ones, we lost count.
The bathroom was a great size, with a walk-in shower and a huge worktop - other guests have been complaining about the lack of light when there was plenty in the bathroom to tart yourself up for the night. Also, if the lamps were on in the rooms there would be plenty of light!
- The Animation Team, they were FANTASTIC and are a credit to LAGA LAGA and the hotel! Laga Laga, Adam (Mr International), Jaden and Cat were always trying to get everyone to join in with the activities, and always put in 110% throughout the day, which was quite long. If you ever wanted to go to Pacha or Hard Rock, talk to Adam and he will make sure you have a great time, also Cat tends to run the trip on a Sunday Night to the Sinai Grand Casino, which was a good laugh and a great way to meet new people in the hotel.
In relation to bad comments about the team, its COMPLETE RUBBISH! It may be ok for you to say how they are "boring" and "shizer" but to be honest, nobody ever explains why! Maybe such guests are also boring because they dont want to join in activites and want to be a couch potato on their sunbeds all day, and if so, go around to the QUIET POOL. The team put a great amount of effort into their work.
- The buffet restaurant, the food was great and never found it repetitive. There was always plenty to choose from, it was always hot unless you had salad. I have been to 5 star hotels in sharm and found that the food has been the best at the Saint George. However, the hotel seemed to become busier during the 2nd week of our stay, and with that we found that lunch time's first hour was a huge rush. It opens at half 12 and we tended to wait an hour or so, but this was not a problem.
- Guest Relations, Michael was fab, always willing to solve any problems and always with a huge smile. He is very approachable and will do whatever he can to help you out! He was a great tour guide on the City Tour of Sharm, which was great value for money costing £5pp, and is highly recommended.
Also, the pools were always clean and the bar staff around the hotel, especially Hany and Fady, were fantastic. "Cheers Love".
Overall, we had a fab time at the hotel and would definately go back again in the future.
