Despite the somewhat isolated location on El Hadaba, it is an OK hotel. Il Mercato is just around the corner - 5 minutes by foot, and there are shuttle buses running to the hotel beach (tiny, crowded, no sand, no WC but great snorkling) and to Naama Bay. The staff is very friendly. The downsides are the hard beds, the unusable pillows and the poor variety in the all-inclusive buffet. But all-in-all I had a great vacation and would not mind going back. As for the pool music, it was loud at times, but my impression was they were well receptive to comments. I would not mind going back as it is good value for money.

Is it a hotel or a 24*7 disco? Given the experience I would think the latter...

Last minute, cheep, sunny, and diving. What could go wrong?

I spend last week at your hotel. The hotel gardens ware lovely, staff was kind (although they should keep more distance), but the friendly atmosphere was spoiled by loud music and tv. Both were on all day. Very annoying indeed. Because of this, I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends..

Nearest beaches are not accessible to guests of other hotels. The beach that is accessible takes a small trip and is very very small and over populated. Corals there are almost all dead, although you can still see quit some fishes.

The village is like a virtual town. Only meant for tourists. No locals, or local shops, bars, restaurants, etc, to be found. Look at google earth and you will see what I mean. Only large plots with swimming pools (hotel areas). No local streets or whatever.

  • Liked — cleanliness
  • Disliked — loud music and tv all day and evening

We booked the holiday as a late deal - 7pm Friday, departing on the Sunday morning for the week before Easter.

Hotel chosen partly by the reviews on this site so we knew what to expect and also that due to the late notice we couldn't be too chosey.

the beach was awful, gritty, damp sunbeds oh and the jelly fish! The pool however was lovely - clean and of a reasonable size. the only issue was # of sun beds; the majority were taken by 8am.

the rooms were OK, clean but as mentioned elsewhere, tired looking, a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss. we moved rooms as the first one was over looking the new hotel being built at the back, the construcion workers were still there at midnight. second room much better.

the nightly entertainment was cheesy but as you expected, only comment was the music at the bar pool (the main bar & in the centre of the hotel) was too loud for its purpose, not background music (and we are both under 30).

food was OK - but not much variety, the other half is off beef for a month as this was the main meat. lunches good for AIC but again little variety.

overall, though, we got the weather, a clean pool and no hidden extras on the AIC as we drank the local beer and soft drinks.

needed a week in the sun to relax and recharge batteries, the dive inn was perfect for this on a budget.for £200 we had one week all inclusive in a 4 star hotel (would be 3 star in england).although some parts of the hotel looked a little tired we had no complaints apart from beds being a bit hard.the staff were all first class especially the pool guys who taught us some arabic salam alico habibey).hotel is 10 minutes from naama bay but there is a very large shopping mall just behind hotel.would I recommend dive inn? yes I would when you consider the cost.ps the food was excellent

  • Liked — relaxed atmosphere great staff and food

Hotel Dive Inn Resort makes families and children feel right at home and is a great option for travel with the children. Getting to the beach from the hotel is a piece of cake. In my opinion, the complaints by guests were easily solved by the hotel´s staff. I found the cleanliness of the restaurant of Hotel Dive Inn Resort to be an absolute plus. In my opinion, the pool is fantastic. The amenities and the furnishings in the room were excellent.
