We returned to this hotel eight months after our first visit to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we brought our parents for their 50th anniversary. It was fantastic and even better than before.

Our room boy had obviously been told what we were celebrating and made swans out of towels and scattered rose petals on our beds. It just made it more special.

The food was really good but dont treat it as a buffett, its not, and you will start getting bored with the food if you do. Its pricey for alcohol but its the same all over SHarm, whatever hotel you use. The coral reef just off the beach is wonderful and diving schools from other parts of Sharm come here as its the best reef in the area. My mum was beside herself when she got into the water, the views and clarity of the water are stunning.

Worth a trip is quadbiking in the desert, all day boat trip which is really good value for money, Naama Bay and the Hard Rock Cafe and a day trip to Cairo is a must. The submarine trip is pricey for what you get but if you dont swim and want to see the reef close up its ideal.

We will definately be coming back later this year and would never consider another hotel.

Hi the hotel has never seen 5 star the waiters or most of them in the restraunt can be very rude to women watch out for the one called sammy! there idea of allinclusive will not be yours you cant even have bottled water unless you pay extra for it .You feel as tho your a second class citizen if your allinclusive you cant get drinks or food at all the bars if you miss a meal or want a snack the food is all left overs from breakfast or dinner left out behind the poolbar in the heat also in the main restraunt you have birds inside eating off the tables and perching above the food you can imagine the rest? .There is a massage and gym area where they come and hassle you until you go for a massage then they want you to go back very pushy not very good when your relaxing by the pool we have stayed at the hilton sharks bay 4* lots better service and hotel the only good thing was the good weather and the snorkeling

Some travel agencies advertise this hotel as 5 star - do not let to be fooled, it's 4* maximum, and the rooms in the front line are 3* maximum - they are very dated. There are 2 average size pools, rough sand beach, 2 restaraunts and a diving club on the hotel territory. During our stay there was mass food poisoning in the hotel (3 out of 6 people that arrived on the same day with us, including my mum). The food itself was good, but they definetely have to improve sanitary conditions in the kitchens! There is nothing to do after 10pm when the animation team finishes their performance (i was not impressed) except for having drinks in Karaoke bar.
The sea was very beatifull with lots of colourful fish and corals, but the entrance to the sea was only from a long pier straight into deep water (5-6meters going to bottolmles darkness) - my aunt stayed at the pool all time because she was not comfortable to swimming in deep waters, so bear this in mind if you prefer to walk into the sea rather that diving into it.
The service was OK, have no complaints - but nothing special

The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, snorkeling is very good - but most of all; if you're thinking about diving the Tiran area this is the perfect accomodation for you. An Extra Divers dive center is located on the beach and the staff there speak several languanges (I heard English, German, Italian and Egyptian). We enjoyed 12 dives in 6 days and are very satisfied with the dive center. Tiran strait reefs are only a zodiak boat trip away.

The drawbacks: We went there on a charter trip and all inclusive was not avaliable. Maybe we should have asked to upgrade when we arrived (not sure whether that's possible). First of all, paying 250 LE for the buffet (two pople + 2 beer) is way too much compared to what you get for the same ammount in Naama Bay. Let's just say you don't choose this hotel for its food. It's not horrible, but we prefer better food when we're on vacation. Since we spent so much time diving and got up early every morning we did not want to go in to Naama Bay every evening. If we hadn't been diving so much, we probably would have gone there to eat. This, however, will be expensive for many. The guy at the hotel who got "taxis" took 70-80 LE for a oneway trip.

Another drawback is that you cannot go straight from the beach and into the water, you must go in via the jetty. However, this is probably the case with most hotels in the area since the reefs are so close to the shore.

Conclusion: Perfect for divers, go all inclusive if you're not planning to go to Naama Bay every evening.

Hi, boyfirned and i went to this hotel, on a bread and breakfast basis and all we can say is do not go here. there is consurtuction happening at this place and it gets very dusty. the hotel is not very good an being hygienic either. there are birds eating the food from the buffet, and it is the same food heated up and served at breakfast lunch and dinner. the quality is very very bad, sloppy and yuk! not edible at all! the bathroom had mould growing in it and unless you want a random man touching your underwear then always leave the do not disturb sign on!

the location has 3 stars because of the snorkelling you can do from the hotel but there is nothing to do near it, to get to naama bay costs a furtune during the evening and the hotel minubus is always "full" so you have no choice but to pay £20 (british pounds) either way.

the staff are really not very hospitable at all. always pocketed our change even though we would never tip them if we had the choice and the life guard is just a down right pervert! the staff in the restaurant for some reason do not seem to like a young middle class english couple and we were often ignored.

the drinks are a furtune here- but they know that because you have nowhere else to go you have no choice but to pay it. i think it was around £4.50 for a glass of dry white wine which was awful and £5.50 for a vodka diet coke.

do not go hear, go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a guest and not a nuisance and want to have a pleasant holiday
