the hyatt hotel was everything that we expected it to be, amazing grounds, perfect location, great sercive especially the pool butlers Amr and Tawfik! Make sure you have lunch at the beach house and avoid dinner at the cascades restaurant as it is too expensive and you will be starving once you leave!!!

most amazing snorkelling down by the private beach and spa at the royal club room with the full view of the sea accompanied by music!! by far the best hotel i nsharm :)

IThe hotel is extremely nice, quite big and spread over a hill,,already the panorama from the lobby is worth to be seen, so get ready to climb up and down .
A gorgeous swimming pool on three different levels, actually three swimming pools is more correct , one only for adults , a sliding taboga of 80 metres for the fun of your kids...and also mine , a lazy river .., several restaurants offering a good level of food ,actually for the dinner there is only a fully serviced restaurant the Sala Thai where Kids are not allowed after 9 pm.. and another one by the pool serving hot stone dishes that when the temperature is constantly over 35 celsius, is not what we were looking for.
Anyhow good service all over , they are not the quickest but they are smiling and customer minded . I have stayed at the club level ( it has his own private pool and beach with free drinks and happy hour, breakfast etc)and it is more than worth each extra euros they are asking for.
The sea and its snorkeling-diving possibilities are simply gorgeous , so nice that during the day you will have a lot of boats coming there to snorkel....there are three beaches .
Gardens are immaculate though in the desert rooms they start to look a little oldie , but the quality of the beds , TVs and toiletries are all good.
It is not the cheapest place, drinks and everything is at the same level of any expensive Euroepan town but the place is justifying it and thats why I suggest to take the Club package .
Hope that you like Russians and locals tourist as the hotel is packed with them.
A good place if you wish to have a week at the sea, just to enjoy your family and swimming . Out of the hotel, there is Naama BAy that is just a place for tourist , extremely hot and with nothing particular attractive if not the burgers at Hard Rock Cafe'
Hotel does not allow taxi to get inside their premise, but you can find plenty of taxi just outside the main gate (a 200 mts walk) that cost less than the half of the taxi of the hotels, remember always to ask them to drive slow...
Would I like to return , yes.

OH MY GOD!! From the moment we steped into this hotel it was pure lush!! from the staff to the food to the pool to the rooms everything in this hotel made it luxury!Having stayed in a number of Hyatts around the world I would say this is one of my favourites. The Souk food area had lots of choice for food and entertainmnet while you ate, the buffet resturant had something different each night. One thing that was a little diapointing was there was the same singer on in the bar each night a bit a variety would have been nice. The staff were freidnly and nothing is too much for them, the whole holiday was totally relaxing with the gardedns to have a wlak round as the sun sets! I can not wait to go back!

Myself and my boyfriend have stayed at this hotel twice(Jan 09 and June 06 and would definately return for a 3rd time. The hotel is in a great location, approx 25-30 mins to airport and 10mins into Naama Bay. The hotel provides a shuttle service into Naama Bay, 3 times a day If I remeber correctly the times were 10am , 4pm and then 9pm. You cant pre book its a case of just turning up and hoping its not to busy. If you want to go in earlier you can get a private taxi which are inside the hotel grounds or if you go outside there are the local taxis. Expect to pay about 40 egyptian pound (not sure what the exchange rate is at the mo). Make sure you haggle with them, as they start off quite high.

Our hotel room was immaculate, (I noticed that our visit in Jan 09 they were decorating rooms). We had a view of the sea and found all facilities easily accesible from our room. You will be taken to your room by a golf buggy and then shown the nearest lifts/stairs etc by the luggage man.

Breakfast was included and there was a great variety.Something to suit all.
There were several restaurants at the hotel, prices did vary depending if you wanted a light snack or 3 course meal.
There were several pools including an adult only one, although we did not see many children so any of the pools would be fine.
The beach was our favourite, you didnt have to leave your sun lounger to get a drink as there were beach butlers . (it took me a while getting used to having somebody bring me drinks and food without me moving from my sun lounger.) They work extremely long hours in very hot weather so at times things can take longer so take this into consideration!
You will recieve a towel card when you check in, so dont forget to take that to the pool/beach!

Rooms cleaned daily, in the evening the maids would knock on our room to see if we needed anything else. Which I thought was a nice touch.

They also have a spa and hairdressers. I had a full body massage which I really enjoyed, you get to use the spa facilities before and after (incl plunge pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room)

You will find the hotel is expensive compared to Naama bay. But then again you are staying in a fantastic 5 star hotel.

We hope you enjoy the hotel as much as we did.

We recommend eating at The Little Buddha (Chinnese/Sushi), Hard Rock Cafe ( this does get extremely busy so book ahead or go early).

There is a taxi rank in Naama Bay with plenty of taxis, so you will be fine getting back.Just remeber to haggle and confirm your price before getting in.
