“Third time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Spent another two weeks at this wonderful hotel.
Yet again everything was perfect, rooms are immaculately clean and spacious.
The staff are what makes this place really special. They all work incredibly hard and provide great service. The barstaff make great cocktails and make sure your glass is never empty. Shaker the Bar managers works tirelessly to ensure that everything is is perfect, he is friendly and attentive and is always checking to ensure his staff provide great service to all his guests.
I will be booking to go back in September, for the fourth time :)
This really is a Magic place

After a disgraceful two weeks with Thompsons Munamar in Turkey it was a pleasure to have ones faith restored in this company. The Red Sea cruise to Petra was excellent and a credit to the captain and crew who were efficient, hard working and happy with it..The trips left a bit to be desired but the time on board more than made up for that. The same goes for Club Magic, could not fault either and a credit to all concerned. The only hiccup was damaged suitcases from dockside to cabin which the ship repaired one and replaced the other only to have the new one damaged on route to Club Magic, which resulted in us purchasing a new one and have the wheels smashed off that one being transported from the room to the coach home.

Room Tip: Fit Mini wheels to your suitcases, other than that you will have a great holiday wherever they put y...

Arrived on the 4th march 2013 and first thoughts
were how basic the reception area was.stayed in block 20
where the room was exceptionally lacking lighting, the room
was kept really clean by the hard working cleaners, but i
think the whole block was weary and basic, the food was
good and the drinks were always available, beach area was
clean and the beach bar was good.thai restaurant was a
place we were well looked after but was so dark hard to see
menu and what you were eating, all in all hotel ok but seems
very congested.

Just come back from a fab holiday in Egypt we went with Thomson as they gave us a great deal with a junior suite at the club magic life nabq bay. From the moment we entered the hotel and were greeted with a welcome drink and a very welcome cool towel. We were taken to our room our cases were delivered to us within minutes the room was more than we expected and the view over looking the red sea was amazing. Even though we arrived at 11.30pm due to a delay in Birmingham food was still available till 12.30am drinks 24 hours. 2 double beds in our room 2 sofa's with a large patio. we went down the next morning not knowing what to expect the restaurant was large with lots to choose from and waiters on hand to help with anything you wanted omelettes cooked to order egg cooked to order almost everything except bacon and proper sausages. Tea and coffee topped up at your table and you could eat inside and outside by the amazing pools. You are given two keys to your room and two beach towel cards which you take to the designated areas and you get your large beach towel which you can change as many times as you want through out your stay so no need to over load your case with towels.
We spend the rest of the first day by the relax pool which I have to say was very chilled out.
There are 3 other themed restaurants which you have to queue up in a morning for we didn't however as the main restaurant is everything that you want and more. We did manage to get into the Egyptian Restaurant without queuing where you get a 3 coarse meal with a bottle of wine.
The main pool area is as expected busy there is a very large pool with a separate childrens pool area. The water in there is cold! Drinks served at your sombrero or you can go to the bar area and collect your own. The grounds are wonderful and well worth a look at as they are well kept. The beach is very gritty but the beach bar is fab lol and we had many a cocktail in there. People were paddling in the sea but the best view by far is the end of the jetty. Walking down the jetty is amazing the fish swimming right by you and they are so colourful. Night time in the restaurant was brilliant and they put on themed nights and as you walk into the restaurant you are given a cocktail but can also order drinks at your table. There is so much food you are spoilt for choice.
We did tip but you don't have to if you don't want to. There is not much else to spend your money on unless you go outside the hotel. We went on one of the trip with the rep into Sinai dessert don't bother the best part which was the camel ride which I wasn,t looking forward to but really enjoyed toooo many fly's and they are not Bedouins. We also went into naama bay in a taxi from the hotel which takes you there and then comes back for you which works out at about £17 don't bother with that either as they are waiting for you the minute you get out of the taxi trying to get you in their shops what a nightmare we wont do that again.
I have to say the hotel is really well kept clean and new looking. Tip the guys who clean your room when you get there and they will look after you really well our beds were changed every day and clean towel too drinks were topped you in the fridge also. All in all a fab holiday nothing bad to write at all. Enjoy.

Room Tip: which ever you choose they are brilliant

We arrived 7th March 2013 for a much needed break from the miserable weather in England, and it really hit the spot with temperatures between 30 and 33 degrees.
The complex is huge and as we were there for only a week we did not bother leaving the complex, reports from other travellers suggested that Neama Bay and Soho Square the two nearest centres were nothing special in any case. We had a ground floor room with huge garden balcony, fridge and complimentary cold drinks and bottled water. Tea and coffee available in room but only creamer for milk, this was overcome by borrowing milk from the breakfast buffet in a water bottle.
The all incusive package was excellent with good range of cocktails although they had ran out of tequila for the first couple of days, the beer was a bit weak but cold, swapping to cocktails or Bacardi wasn't a problem. 24 hours a day drinks available at the American bar all other bars finished serving at midnight.
We spent everyday on the private beach which was excellent with windbreaks and plenty of sun beds, some people were having problems finding beds after 11 though. Spent most of my time snorkelling which I must admit in the Red Sea was the best I have ever seen. Even the jellyfish I encountered we're found to be harmless and I gently palmed them away, the array of beautiful fish with amazing colours were fantastic. Not mentioned in hotel facilities but pool and beach towels are provided.
Food was pretty good in the buffet restaurant with the usual fair, the three a la carte restaurants excellent and personally found no problem booking these.
The staff are brilliant from the waiters to the gardeners who do a great job keeping the gardens beautiful, are all very pleasant.
We met some great guests especially Sharon and Angela from Hartlepool who had us in stitches all week even though they had us up on the beach at 5 am to see the sunrise that did not actually appear untill 6.10 am. But it was worth it, a fabulous sight.
Would we return ?.......Of course we would.

My niece and I have just returned from Club Magic Life and have a fantastic time, everything is really clean our room which was a jnr suite was well situated by the relaxing pool but if you want a little more lively there is the main pool. We never struggled to find a sun lounger and were entertained daily by the remarkable entertainment team who try so very hard with day and evening entertainment. If you are a single traveller they have a magic angel who is there to make sure you have a good time with pre dinner cocktails and organised excursions, there is also a golden oldie angel for the more mature traveller. The all inclusive is fab with the buffet themed every night and 3 a la carte restaurants to use. The main drinks are really good with lots of cocktails to choose from and a great cafe serving a variety of coffee and cake. Afternoon tea is also available in the American bar. The waiting/bar staff were friendly and courtious everyday and were great at remembering your drinks. It was a little chilly in the evenings but the entertainment team were there with blankets to keep you warm. Kids clubs and mini evening disco keeps the kids entertained and lots to do if you are the energetic type. We will defo go back here

Room Tip: Pack a jacket for the evenings

If you live in Devon and want a bit of winter sunshine without the hassle of Heathrow or Gatwick departures then Exeter is the answer and Sharm El Shiek is an ideal destination. This is an Oasis of lovely hotels on the southern edge of the Sinai Dessert Penninsula. The question is how to pick an hotel from the 200 plus available. Well that's down to what you find on offer from the travel operator which flies from Exeter which is Thompsons. There is a certain security in using a well known company and after that a quick look at trip advisor and costs the decision is made. We choose Club Magic Life Imperial, in spite of the silly name. Like all the hotels in Sharm it is an Oasis of calm with very little that is attractive outside the resort. We spent two weeks there having just returned on March 15th. The weather once the wind calmed down on day 4 was just perfect. The snorkelling off the end of the hotel jetty wonderful, temperature of pools lovely, fitness activities especially Josie's Zumba classes so good. When it comes to all inclusive this hotel has got it right. Haute cuisine it is not but for what we paid we felt that endless good cappuccinos (beach bar), cocktails, beers, reasonably good food at all times it was really good. Our only criticism would be that we were not aware of the shows in the theatre because we did not read all the many notice boards during our first week and when we did go the shows were really good. We would put this hotel in Sharm on a par with some more expensive hotels we have stayed at in Thailand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Singapore, New Zealand, and Tasmania. Must finish by saying the staff are very well trained, polite and charming apart from the grumpy men on the reception desk.
Happy Holiday
Mary (from Exmouth)

Room Tip: Choose third floor with sea views for high ceilings. You must be mobile as no lifts.
