Grubby. Run down. Average prices. Sport in the TV. Menus were creased and sticky. In need of a decent lick of pant and an injection of enthusiasm.
The Tavern Bar is a typical British theme pub in a resort. Walk in and you could be in any budget Benidorm or Playa De Las Americas street or anywhere else in a Club 18-30 brochure for that matter. If you are the type of lager-swilling, knotted hanky type british traveller that wants to go abroad, but drink british drinks watching British football, eating British food with British ketchup, with British people and complain its not as good as back in Britain while listening to the wife of a middle aged dive bore from Wigan murdering Whitney Houston on the karaoke, then crack on for a evening here. I'll go elsewhere and be grateful that places like this exist so I can have a nice time somewhere else.
If you are that traveller who wants this sort of place, you'll love it but for me, it's holiday hell.
