“Nama bay - STAY AWAY”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Taxi drivers, shop keepers and workers that sell excursions are all over you like a bad rash and can get really aggressive if you dont go to their shop or buy anything from them. However I did come accross one or two decent shop keepers though.

Aladdin Shisha bar STAY away, they tried to over charge me. And i know another couple had the same problem with their bill. Also i have read another complaint on here saying the same thing.

“No need!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Visited for just two hours during the day using the free minibus from our resort (Coral Beach Rotana).
You'll be bundled into a shop immediately on arrival so that you can get your `ticket` back - more to do with an arrangement with the taxi driver than the hotel I expect - then the rude, over bearing hard sell begins, and doesn't stop until you leave - whether its folks selling tours, restaurant workers or shop keepers.
Totally horrible and would never leave the hotel resort again when in Sharm.
By the way - if anyone wants to set up a business in Egypt may I sugggest a poundland type shop - any shop making their prices clear to allow hassle free window shopping would do a roaring trade with the Brits who don't like haggling. To all those Egyptian shop keepers asking `where are the British this year? - they're staying in their resorts to avoid your rude, horrible, pestering, intimidating manner.

“Great place - but be on guard and AVOID Aladin Shisha Bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Had a good night in Naama Bay

Great for Shopping - replica designer bags, watches all good price and always negotiate hard.

Shisha Bars - some great ones on the sea front however there is one to stay clear of - Aladin Shisha Bar on the main strip - they over charge selected victims - try to charge us £32 for 2 beers that cost £5 on bill and make a hassle if you don't pay - we had a row with the Manager - this was the only hassle we had whole holiday.

Clubs - went to Pasha - great club - impressive - about 75% full of Arab men though

“Great experiance! LOVED IT”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Quite a few bad reviews on here on na'ama bay, which i personally think they have over-exagerated. Yes, shop keepers ask you to go in to their shop but if you decline politely and have a chat with them they are really friendly. Hard rock cafe and TGI fridays are real english food and nice to have a treat. Also Mcdonalds, KFC and Pizza hut are there too. Little bit expensive but its about the same price for a meal out at home. I bought a mulbery bag and purse for £30 which is really good, you can get good bargins if youre willing to barter which i love. Best to go in on a night time to see all the bars lit up, it looks really nice. All you have to say is no thank you to taxi drivers on the way out. Best to book with your hotel taxi even if it is a little more expensive but then you know you are safe! Would definatly return :)
