“I have to come back here!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

Where do I start! This has been a wonderful holiday. The hotel is well kept and maintained. There are ample bins which are emptied regularly. No litter was seen anywhere. Staff are plentiful and willing to help. More staff needed in Piano Bar as getting a drink can be a little slow here. Jordan the pianist is a brilliant piano player catering for all ages. Just don't call him old fashioned as he gets tetchy - bless. For a young boy Jordan is an excellent host! Don't miss the Sensatones and Sensasisters, excellent performance. Rooms spacious and well kept. All rooms seem to have an excellent view. Rooms cleaned well except one day we had a note on the door saying room not cleaned as we had asked to be disturbed - this was not the case at all. I am still unsure why he said that.

There is no smoking allowed in any of the indoor places which was very welcome. The hotel is predominantly British which seemed strange at first but by the end of the holiday seemed like the norm.

Overall this is a brilliant hotel. You are not bothered by being asked to join in activities, however, sometimes being asked can be good and encourage you to do some exercise. The Spa is great and the Heaven and Earth treatment is to die for!!

Only other thing to say is that we cannot wait to come back

Having previously stayed at Tenerife Sensatori we had no qualms about booking this for our honeymoon. At the time there was a host of negative reviews and at one point I rang the travel agent to change hotel. They put my mind at rest and guaranteed me the negative remarks were clearly from really picky people who have nothing better to do than look for the smallest things to pick at and leave a review whilst on holiday rather than lay back and enjoy the holiday for what it was.... A SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT WHERE THE STAFF TRULY COULDNT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU!

We had a swim up beach front room which made the holiday and was lovely to sit on the edge late afternoon dipping my feet in before getting showered and ready for the evening.

Snorkelling off the jetty AMAZING

We travelled with friends for our honeymoon and in truth we wouldnt have chosen here for a honeymoon but we wanted a short enough distance away, with guaranteed heat, upgraded room options, all inclusive and something for kids and adults alike. We got exactly what we paid for!

My husband and I stayed here in March 2013 and have nothing but praise for the place.
The welcome fruit drink and swift check in were both appreciated after a 5 1/2 hr flight. Our room was an adult superior and looked out on the adult pool. Loved the peaceful location. We wondered if we should have booked a swim up room but as we both enjoy diving and spending time at the beach we felt we wouldn't have used it enough to justify the extra cost. Our room was kept spotless, and so was the rest of the hotel.
The beach was very clean too, with rubbish containers close to every sunbed.
We went to the Marhaba, Casa Bianca and Tiran restaurants as well as the Fountain View buffet and we were delighted with the quality, quantity, freshness and flavour of every meal we had.
The staff were amazing and we felt they wanted to be part of making your holiday special. Whenever they spoke to you they were polite, friendly and helpful. A lot of them loved a laugh and enjoyed spending time with you. Hospitality staff in the UK could learn a lot from these guys!
We used Ocean College and were delighted with the service they offered.
We went to the spa twice and they ladies there were lovely, and the massages were good.
We really cannot fault the Sensatori resort in any way, and cannot wait to return.

The resort is billed as 5 stars. It is very good for an All Inclusive but in my opinion, claiming 5 stars is diluting what 5 star really is.
The accommodation was to a very high standard and it was clear that much effort goes into ensuring cleanliness in all areas from bedrooms, bars and restaurants. Hygene appeared to be taken seriously and nobody in our party suffered during the holiday. The food was also to a good standard and the buffet very much above standard I have experienced on other "5-star" all-inclusives. The Middle Eastern restaurant in particular was always a very good evening, with good food and very friendly service.
The pool areas are excellent although it appears that only the main pool is heated - which, if you wish to relax in the infinity or adult pool is not good (Note this was in low season and in the summer heat this would probably be more than acceptable).
Late evening entertainment in the piano bar was pleasant with a mix of talent, some good some not so - it would also benefit from a wider repertoire. We didn't go to the main entertainment area as we preferred to dine leisurely in the early evening.
The staff were all very friendly and we did enjoy our stay - but to be realistic - this is really a 4 star resort. It more than met my expectations for an all-inclusive (my previous experience of 5-star resorts have been more 2-3 star and I may be excessively critical) but the quality of the drinks on offer (wine and spirits) was nowhere near 5 star quality and the real attention to detail offered by real 5 star hotels was not quite there - but given the difference in price, I can live with that.
One final point, if you have paid extra for a "sea view" room, it will be in the block around the back of the hotel and you will be disappointed with a view of undeveloped desert waste land. The view is technically of the sea but it is not the image that you will have conjured up - it is quiter and more private than the main part of the hotel. These rooms look very good but those on ground level are not private by any stretch of the imagination.
The only reason for going to Egypt was the Red Sea. The diving was excellent and the reef's all very good. I have to say that having snorkelled and dived on 10 reefs on this holiday, the best reef has to be the reef off the hotel (Raz Gamilla). You have to venture away from the floating jetty (parallel to the beach towards the North East) and the further you swim it just gets better and better. Beautiful corals and fish with good views into the deep.

Would I go back - yes!

Like everyone else I looked @ Trip Advisor Reviews & do tend to "note" the negatives of a Resort. My conclusion with this place is......."poor attitude will discover & even exaggerate minor issues!". Please get a life.
I cannot speak highly enough of this Resort,
Hotel, Restaurants, Food & Level of Hygiene, Service, Staff..............all Fantastic. We paid 3 x times this price in Nov. to the Maldives (lily Beach....check it) and left with the same feeling of "great value", please focus your opinions on the Positive reviews & use the negatives as a "heads up" on how to avoid any perceived issues. The Restaurant booking system will be an issue only if you MUST dine early evening, young families etc. We usually booked around lunchtime when popping to the Buffet. Dined is every Rest. Gokan was exc. £50 for 2 x staters & mains & a £50 bott of Sauvignon (tasted like Chardonnay!).
Thank you to Amr, Mohammeds, Taha Mamhoud, Eslam. Please tip the the Staff, they work hard.

We visited Sensatori sharm in March.
From the moment we were collected from the airport by the sensatori team we were treated like visiting royalty!
The hotel is beautiful & exceptionally clean.
We stayed in the adults only section of the hotel which was perfect for us! Quiet & no kids running around the pool.
The rooms are stunning & very clean, fresh water is supplied every day, there is an iron, ironing board & hair dryer so no need to cart travel ones with you! No need to take beach towels either as these are supplied daily!
The food in each of the restaurants is good & the burgers at the Tiran Diner on the beach are beautiful & at lunch time you don't need to book!! To eat in the other restaurants you have to make a reservation using one of the 2 machines in reception this takes literally 2 minutes & is no problem at all, we were there for one week & managed to eat in all of them & the Italian twice! Id recommend the steak in the Casa Bianca, it's gorgeous!
The Fountain which is the main buffet restaurant has excellent choice & everything you could want, they also have a children's section at lunch & evening meal times with spaghetti bolognese chips pizza veg etc.
The shows in the theatre are good we only really saw 2 as we were shattered by 10pm!
The piano bar is nice & cocktails are good! Ladies take a jacket / shawl/ cardigan for the evenings as the air con works a little too well inside the Piano bar!!
The guest relations room by the Plano bar offers a great service where you can drop in your used sun creams into a box for others to use, I dropped in a factor 15 sun cream & took a factor 30 water resistant cream which I took back at the end of the holiday, it's a brilliant idea. The guest relations staff are fantastic, we organised a dive trip & they arranged a fantastic packed lunch for us to take with us!
There are shops inside the hotel which are good from jewellery, bags, souvenirs to crisps chocolate & drinks!
Wi-fi is available in the hotel but it's quite a weak signal & if there are a few people using it, its not worth it! Me personally I'd rather be on the beach than the Internet!
Service throughout the resort is exceptional from the restaurants to the beach! Fresh water & drinks are delivered to your very comfy lounger on the beach as often as you want!
The Ocean College diving team on the beach are fantastic & offer a great choice of dives & snorkel trips. If you go to Sharm you have to snorkel or dive! The marine life is amazing! We also saw dolphins at the end of the jetty!!
The spa in the hotel is lush, we had the couples massage which was heavenly & the view from the treatment rooms are amazing looking out over the Red Sea!
You can walk to the end of Sensatori & on to the next resort where there are some shops & a small supermarket, you do get hassled from the shop owners but they're just trying to make a living! You can visit Soho Square which is owned by the owner of the Savoy & he has paid the shop owners not to hassle you!
Just off the resort there is the option to have a camel ride, it's worth it but sort out a price before you get on the camel!!!
My only complaint about the whole holiday was that I had to walk the mere 20 paces from my room to the beach & noone carried me!!
We read lots of reviews on this hotel before we booked & the majority were good, the ones who wrote bad reviews were obviously people who just like to moan!!

I couldn't fault the hotel, services or staff! We've already recommended this to friends & they've booked for June!

Exceptional & I can't wait to book the next one!!

Feel free to email me if you have any questions about the hotel.

Myself, husband, brother & sister in law stayed here in Feb and we were all taken with the hotel. We had booked swim up rooms with sea view and the rooms were very clean, spacious and in a good location. It was my birthday while I was there and the hotel decorated my room and left a lovely chocolate cake as a surprise. Very unexpectant. Food was I would say 4* as quite repetitive every evening. I would not recommend the stonegrill has you had to cook your own food and the cost was not cheap. Italian was very good but took us 5 days to get booked into this as only small for the size of the hotel. However staff very friendly and would certainly go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Swim up with sea views are in good location and quiet
