“love this hotel :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

i have been to this hotel many times and i love it!!!!! i dont know why people write such bad reviews about his place. weather AMAZING !! staff lovely and so friendly, food very nice !! animation team always keep you occupied and entertained. food and drink all day. even though people come and sell you trips you can get a sign to say for them to leave you alone just ask at reception. you feel like home when you are there. entertainment at night brilliant but can get repetitive if there for more than a week.
this hotel is awsome :)

1st to 15th november one of our best holidays by far , we had a room 5024 a bit dated in bathroom but king size bed, cleaners every day , fantastic staff got to give them praise they couldnt do enough for you especially Nady in resturant he was lovely always got us a table straight away n drinks always on our table waiting, plenty of food to choose from n sandwhiches made fresh with what you would like on em, snorkling on the beach was fab all the colourfull fish swim around you, I dissregard any negative points this hotel int the ritz but first class staff make up for it . cant wait to go back , has for noisey pool there was plenty of other pools to choose from we spent loads of time round pool n very peacefull n relaxing even at 51 i went down slide lol it was fun lol i recomend this hotel to anyone we loved it .

Room Tip: 5024 is away from pool in between both hotels lovely n quiet with a king size bed

Had a lovely week, staff were lovely. Half way through the week the new entertainment team arrived and were brilliant and got everyone going! Children's mini disco was well organised including evening entertainment. Would recommend to a friend

We stayed all inclusive for one week. The hotel is looking tired and needs some attention. We enjoyed the beach area and snorkelling was good. The main swimming pool was not very relaxing (a bit noisy/manic). The food was ok - breakfast was good, a bit annoying to stay at an all inclusive resort and be expected to pay more for some restaurants. We had a nice relaxing week but would not use this hotel again - most of the reviews are reasonably accurate , not all negative but point out flaws - it is not unbearable to stay here but not as good as could be expected. It is just an average hotel which could be a lot better!!!

Don't take all the reviews as negative but do listen to what people say. We found the staff very friendly and more than helpful we had a couple of minor problems but they were sorted straight away. The food is very bland and repetitive, the hotel is full of very rude Russians who just push in but just tell them to get in the queue and they will. The pools are good and the room was ok, it looked a bit tired though and the bathroom needed a good once over. The entertainment is none existent during the day and night, only a woman trying to sing,be very aware of the mosquitoes they will eat you alive, my daughter had to go on a drip with over 100 bites on her legs.
Over all the holiday was ok but the hotel is definitely not 5 star as listed in the brochure, I would only give it 3 stars, would I go back again? No definitely not I would choose somewhere else in Sharm of a higher standard.

Room Tip: 1101 to 1106 ground floor and close to reception

Just returned from a week here. Have to agree with some of the criticisms and disagree with others.
I found the staff funny, helpful and yes, they like a tip but a pound here and there you don't really miss.
Check in was fine. Ground floor room, like most others asked for a double but got two singles. Room smelled funny and bathroom wasn't the cleanest either. In my opinion never a four star room. More like a Greek 3 star, right down to the toilet paper in a bin rather than down the loo. No view to speak of either.
At no point did any of the cleaners make a wee swan or any other animal out of towels for us.
You are given a bottle of Coke, (No diet available), a bottle of Sprite and 2 bottles of water per day. Mostly. Some days maybe not. You can refill your water bottles at the pools or beach from water coolers. The drinks will generally be delivered when you are in your room so a tip can be given. On the plus side the air con was excellent. Very quite too.
The complex is really nice. Very clean and well kept. The beach area is different. Not just a stretch of sand. Built into the cliff with beds and umbrellas. There are three pier type things over the reef leading into the sea. Fish can be seen from the piers and the snorkelling is worth the trip alone. It's quieter down there than around the main pool. I have seen people talking about the resort having six pools? I don't know where this comes from. There is a large pool and a small one down by the beach at Dreams Beach resort and a couple of pools at Dreams Vacation. I found the umbrellas at the pool a bit of a pain as they don't fold down and finding sun all day is tricky. The music at the main pool can be a bit of a pain too.
The people pestering you for massages, restaurants, trips etc only really last for a day. It is a bit of a nightmare but doesn't last. Something really should be done about it though as it spoiled our first day.
The food was mostly awful in the main restaurant. Breakfast, cereal, a queue for eggs, (Except boiled), which are made fresh. Mashed potatoes and beans? salad and cheese? For Breakfast? Then at lunch no sign of the cheese when you would quite like it.
Soups and desserts were good at lunch. Most other things lukewarm and samey. Fresh pasta is nice but long queues again, and bear in mind this is at the end of October. Lord knows what it's like in high season,
Tea was, essentially lunch. If you don't like beef or chicken forget it.
We were told that we could use The Grill House or Italian restaurant as many times as we liked during our stay rather than the usual once a week. But you have to book.
We went to the Grill house on Wed afternoon and got booked for Sunday night! The Italian could only give us the same night so we didn't get to go as we were home on the Monday night.
Went to the Grill house for lunch 3 times and it was better than the main restaurant but the same menu on each occasion. I appreciate that you probably won't get pork in a muslim country but a few cold meats and cheese at lunchtime would have made a huge difference to me. Turkey, lamb anything other than just boney chicken and beef.
There are other restaurants such as The love Boat and Bedouin Tent at Dreams Beach and a Chinese and Mexican at Dreams Vacation but I grudge paying for food when I've already paid for it.
The Russians. Fortunately we had a great All Inc week in Turkey last year in a hotel full of Russians and Eastern Europeans so were prepared for the inevitable queue jumping and such. It becomes quite funny. I think the food is really aimed at them.
This sounds like a really negative review but I enjoyed the week despite the faults this place has. The weather was fantastic, The local beer is really nice and light, like a Coors. The staff in the bars and restaurant were great, the beach and snorkelling are brilliant.
If this had been sold as a 3 star or I'd got it cheap I'd probably have been happy but it has five stars on the sign outside and 4 star in the brochure and it simply isn't either of these. It wasn't cheap either.
I would go back to the country and the area for sure but not this hotel unless I got a good deal on it.

Room Tip: If you don't get the room you asked for, e.g. a double, complain. I would imagine rooms near the...
