“It's our firs recreation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

So the first of all we start since 18 july and was in Concorde EL Salam Hotel till 26 July. In hotel a large territory, so there are some trouble with transfer to beach, because bus started work only at 7 a.m.. Our room was on second floor, for us it will be better than 1st floor. Our room was clean and all work fine, but in bathroom was PROBLEM: strange insects, rust on many metal things, no halairv. In room there are many old furniture which was kicked by legs or smth else. Second our TROUBLE is FOOD: from the fifth day for me and my girlfriend started having pains in the abdomen, but we ate only vegetables and cheeses so i don't know wtf but pains was strange for me, Third TROUBLE: All juices were powdered with sugar and diluted with water. Animation was designed for sitting and eternally drunken Russian Gopnik. The truth is always in the room was cleaned, a bottle of water is always updated, the service in the lobby bar and the pool is always the best, as on the first line siting wonderful Italian restaurant, where there were few people.Honestly, I would go back to the hotel for a few reasons, the first reason is the great people who worked in the lobby bar Alaa Eltaeb with which every day I was able to communicate in English, and who told me about Egypt, the culture, the religion, the people and about the national cuisine and Hisham, which was nice to talk to and spend time, and the second reason is beautiful city Noam Bay, which has opened for us Egypt with an awesome party. In the city we bought a lot of things and gifts for family and sat in a chic cafe. To sum up I can say the following at this excellent service, helpful staff, good housekeeping, but old furniture, there are problems with the technique ROOM, THE PROBLEM with the glass in lobby bar, there are insects, not safest food for Russian stomachs. But in spite of this great people, such as Alaa Eltaeb, Hisham that excellent employees and professionals

Room Tip: so if you want good room you have to know another language than Russian, because all Russian speach...

I know I keep returning to review this hotel but that's because I keep returning to it. This is the 5th time my husband and I have been back and the staff now greet us like family. And it's genuine. They remember our names, they remember where we're from. One staff member even noticed that I'd had my long hair cut short.

The facilities are excellent and the house reef remains pristine but it's the staff that really make this a great place to stay.

Room Tip: You have the choice of the front or sport hotel. I would always stay in the front because the views...

The staff really made this holiday extra special, especially Ahmed at the small pool bar outside our room, He was always very happy and always bought a smile to our faces. We never were without a drink and he was always very attentive, also was our pool life guard, Abdul. I would definitely come back again to this hotel thanks to these members of staff.

The food was actually pretty good, a big variety catering for meat/fish eaters and vegetarians/vegans. The restaurant staff could be a little more attentive to those without drinks however always polite.

We went to the piano bar everyday/evening as it was a very relaxing and all the staff were brilliant. Again Ahmed served drinks here in the evening which always brightened us up, along with Ali and Waleed who were also so friendly.

I could have stayed a lot longer and cant wait to get back!

Room Tip: The smaller pools are a lot more relaxing and the staff are great, i would definitely like to stay i...

My friend and I have just returned back from a girls holiday and both of us agreed that it was amazing. The sun, sea, pools and especially staff completely made the week. I'll try and give an acurate view of both the positive and negatives.

Positives
*The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard, where fresh towels are given, 1.5 litres of bottled water.
*The room is airconditioned constantly making it lovely to cool down in, all buildings are actually.
*The cleaning staff will create amazing towel structures, we had a dog, elephant and crocodile. A very nice extra when coming back to the room.
*The food is reasonably hot and varied, what you have to remember is that they are cooking for hundreds of people.
*After the first day then your drink would be delivered before you even sit at the table.
*There are shows every evening at 9pm put on by the animation team, theyre a good laugh and gives something to do in the eveneing.
*The piona bar is the best place for wifi and they create some very 'interesting' drinks some lovely others not quite so much.

Negatives
*There was one member of staff in the restaurant that we found rather creepy and decided to not sit on his section as a result. Most staff are very friendly and just want to help but he was overly so.
*The infinity pool has a blow up volleyball court which really does get in the way and ends up being a pain.
*On check out day we were told we hadnt paid to have late check out even though we had, now im not sure if this was first choices issue or the hotels but we ended up have to pay £35 to have a late check out.

Extras
We went on the VIP desert experience, all I have to say is this trip is phenomenal!!! This combinds a 2 hour ish ride on a quad bike, camel ride, dinner and a show. You end up riding home on the quads in the dark following the light of the person in front.
Ahmed who works at the aqua gym pool by day and piano bar at night gives the best service you could ask for. We highly recommend going to that pool just for his service, he will bring the drinks too you check you dont want any if its been a while since your last order, remember your last order and just generally be amazing.
If you remember the word shokran- im not sure if its how you spell it but its how you say it the staff seem so pleased that you are trying to speak there language and it goes a very long way to the service you are given.
The aqua gym is a lot smaller and quieter, we also found that it seemed to be where most of the British speaking people stayed. The towel man will also reserve your sunbeds if you tip on the first day, also if your a sun lover then if you are stood facing the pool by the towel stand youll want a bed to the right as the left goes into shade at about 3. The infinity pool though has a great view but is packed with people many of whom are rude russians.
The Russians- the hotel try to put the majority in the sports hotel however there are still a lot of them who yes are rude and push there way to the front of the food queues, however if you just stand your ground then theyre not an issues.
The water slides shown in the pictures are not actually on site at this hotel they are on the sports hotel which is a short bus ride away.
The green band is given to all English speaking adults, children are all given a green band regardless of where they are from and the russians in a dark blue/black band.

I would deff recommend this hotel to anyone because it is amazing and feels so safe, it is also about a 5 minute walk from soho square, a visit worth having even just for a change of scenery. The shop keepers are not allowed to ask you in there store and so feels very safe, followed by the extreme muscled security guards.

Room Tip: We were in room 1237 any around this block are very quiet with walking distance to everything easily...

Three times in Egypt. Two times in this wondeful hotel Concorde el salam front. We really love this place. Last visit was in room 6115 . Everything was perfect. I would like to say thanks for all the staff and of course for the reception team especially Mohamed the supervisor with pink T-shirt. He is really helpful and very good professional. Also he refused to get any money for the room when we offered to him and said that it`s just a service for us and his work to make us happy which an attitude I've never seen in any hotel before even in Europe. It was an amazing vacation. The food was very good and the bar staff is nice. So the next summer my family and i will come again to this wonderful place. You must visit it)

Excellent well-trained, hospitable and friendly staff. They go the extra-mile to make your stay memorable. Accommodations are cleaned well with Towel sculptures now and then showing up on your made-up bed to lighten up your vacation. Food is a little bit boring, needs more variation and taste improvement. Wonderful, relaxing view from the Vendome Bar and Flame Restaurant.

Room Tip: It's a plus to know a few managers to help you out when you've got problems.
