Right, first time on Sharm so was a little sceptical.
Location was great, I booked it direct as if you do you can get a junior suite for €107 a night, great value if your a family they also do family rooms, in terms of location try and get one that overlooks the main pool as you can nip out and fill your water up and get drinks etc. all the suites overlook pool they also have the sea in the distance too, of you want a pure sea view be aware that these are quite far from reception etc but they are close to see plus it's only standard rooms. Be careful if your on the balcony as we managed to lock ourselves out there twice and had to shout for help, luckily my son was fast asleep, once you close them from outside you can't get in, so be aware, also if you have kids be careful of the bathroom door if they touch the lock and you'd outside and they shut the door you'll be locked out of bathroom too, so a couple of things to watch out for. We were in room 616, perfect location. Rooms were pretty tidy but they coukd be cleaned better, they just seem to sweep up rather than clean properly, but overall it was fine. The hotel itself is nice, pool area is great, they have two other pools, we used to go to the beach in the morning abd then pool late afternoon, try abd keep kids out of sun between 1-3 it's very hot and saw a lot of burned children, irresponsible parents, they should ideally have tops on with costumes as well as hats, as it was really hot, late 30s all day. Take lots of mosquito repellant and they have tonnes and kids will be targeted.
Food was good in the ala carte restaurants, especially the Indian, Italian was ok too, the seafood one is amazing but you have to pay €23 each kids are free, so not that bad but I feel that should be included at least once, you also have to pay £1.50 for fresh orange juice, nothing included in the mini bar. That is a little dissapointing as they try and make you upgrade your all inclusive package a little devious, I mean compared to turkey they are a little behind, main restaurant food is ok they do have different themes etc so something for everyone, they need to increase the omelette station size as it gets really busy and the toast making facilities are pretty slow too, but overall it okay. Staff are brilliant all really really helpful, the kids disco is great and the entertainment is pretty good too, especially the guy called Mou he's great with kids and a really nice guy, my son fell in love with him so big shout to him.
One thing that is a bit dissapointing is the beach at night, loads of places to sit but but no drinks in site, that was pretty dissapointing especially if you have gone for a walk abd fancy a wine or beer, there is nothing happening there at all. The general music and entertainment stops pretty early they should stay open later, they have a club but you can't with with small kids when ther are asleep in buggy etc. So try and stay open longer, especially by the quiet pool once the singer has finished they turn lights off which is a bit rubbish as you want to stay for a bit, but all in all it's ok.
The shops should open at 9 not 10, never been anywhere in the world where shops and bars close so early.
We went to Naama Bay once, very busy, too busy for us. But we loved the Hard Rock Cafe.
Oh the snorkelling is amazing the sea life is brill, you will see a lot of Jelly fish I was scared until I saw kids picking them up, and I did eventually as they are totally harmless and dont sting, so dont be scared.
All in all we had a great holiday, very relaxing, good weather, could make a few improvements on what I have said above and once they have sorted these things out itll be perfect, I loved Sultan Gardens, and my wife and I and my son miss it dearly, and we may even be back later in the year or next year.

Thank you for choosing the Sultan Gardens Resort. Thank you also for taking the time to post your detailed review. It is very much appreciated particularly as Sultan Gardens Resort prides itself on earning reviews in an organic fashion without requesting them or offering services in exchange for them.
It was a pleasure to host you and we are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us.
We would like to take this opportunity to address some of the issues raised in your review, beginning with the all inclusive options as they relate to minibar packages and fresh juices. Let us begin by stating that all inclusive packages vary from resort to resort depending on many factors such as the size of the resort, its facilities and its selling price. Sultan Gardens Resort is no different in this regard except that rather than creating a single all inclusive package at a price and working with it, we have created several booking options ranging from traditional bed and breakfast all the way through multiple all inclusive option packages, to the Sultan class ultra all inclusive option. The point of this is not to be devious or try to get you to upgrade, on the contrary, it is so each guest can choose the package that best suits their preferences and their budget. Most of our guests tend to book the Classic all inclusive package (yellow bracelet) which compares favorably to most all inclusive options in Sharm not only in terms of quality and what is included, but also in terms of value for money. Items such as freshly squeezed juices and the Fish Market (which uses freshly caught ingredients brought in by refrigerated truck because fishing on the Sharm coast is not an option for conservation reasons) naturally are more expensive. For most visitors to Sultan Gardens this is not an issue and they end up enjoying a great holiday without spending any extra money in house. For other guests, such items are an essential part of the holiday. These guests have the choice of paying for services as they order them, or choosing one of the more expensive, and thus more encompassing all inclusive options. The reverse is true, as guests who are looking for a cheaper booking, or don't like seafood, or so on, will prefer to book the Classic package which conforms to their preferences and their budget.
All information about our all inclusive options is clearly listed on the Resort's official website and available with all tour operators to avoid any confusion. To summarize, we would like to assure you that being devious or trying to get you to upgrade in a sneaky way at all. Quite the opposite actually. All we have done is create multiple packages based on guest feedback to give guests the options they want. For example, one guest may tell us "Everything is great but I just want these three items to be included in the package". We will certainly be able to offer them an all inclusive package that suits them and charge accordingly. Conversely, another guest might not want these three items included in their package, simply because they are not interested in them or because they want a cheaper booking. The second guest will choose to book the Classic package. Neither guest has gotten better value than the other because both guests are paying for what they want, rather than what the Resort is obliging them to pay for. We hope this has clarified the situation for you and we welcome any questions you might have for us regarding board types.
We appreciate your comments about the evening entertainment on the beach and we can confirm that a bar will be open at the beach in the evenings during the summer months. We will also extend the hours in the evening at the quiet pool per your suggestion.
We would like to add a word about the Red Sea jelly fish mentioned in your review. While it is true that they do not sting it is important to avoid touching them or any marine life, or taking them out of the sea as much as possible. We are not assuming that you have done this, but we have seen visitors collect jellyfish out of the sea and pile them up on the sand in the past once they found out that they don't sting and you have given us an opportunity to advise all potential visitors that this is a harmful practice to be avoided.
Thank you again for your review. We are grateful for the information provided herein and would like to assure you that the Sultan Gardens Resort will continue to upgrade and improve its services and facilities to keep you and your family returning time and again.
We look forward to your return and we remain at your service as always.
