“Another Fantastic Holiday at Sultan Gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

Not long returned from our 6th visit to Sultan Gardens & that tells you what we think of it!! It was great to see all our friends again & they were equally delighted to see us. What we love about Sultan Gardens specifically is
1) Service - fantastic service, you are so well looked after, nothing is too much trouble & if the odd thing does go wrong its normally sorted out in no time at all. There are too many staff to name them all individually but I'd like to say a special thanks to Mohammad El Said in the restaurant. A lovely young man who I think has looked after us since he started at SG. It's brilliant to see how his confidence has grown over the past 2 years, he totally commands his whole station, seems to be in 10 places at once but still giving everyone special attention. I'm starting to think he's developed eyes in the back of his head as he's so intuitive to everyones needs! & he always has the biggest smile.
2) Value for money - I know people say its not a true 5 star & it's not when compared to UK standards. but its not in the UK so please stop comparing it to UK. standards. Yes, I've no doubt there are more luxurious hotels in Sharm but I seriously doubt any of them offer the same value for money that SG does, especially when you take into account the quality of food & the service.
3) Genuine interest in Customer feedback & acting on it. Every time we've been back you can see that changes have been made, some quite small, like specific waiters being tasked with the tea & coffee at breakfast, to significant changes like redesigning the whole beach area & the new Oasis bar. The majority of these changes come from the senior management team proactively seeking feedback AND acting on it.

You have a fantastic team Basel, from you're senior team, right down. Please dont stop what you're doing, its what sets you apart from others & its what keeps your returning guests coming back! Our 7th visit is already booked for Novembe.. Thanks again for another fantastic holiday. & looking forward to seeing you all again in November

It was really nice to visit this place! A lot of entertainment there. Nice place, food, rooms, etc. And first of all really great animator team. Especially greetings and thanks for Dave from Rainbow Tours - really great animator speaking Polish well, easily to understand and communicate!I like Rainbow Tours also, great company!

We have just returned from this, our first holiday in Egypt and what a brilliant time we had. The rooms were cleaned daily, beautiful white towels, lovely white sheets, air conditioned, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. Daily we were left a bottle of water which was very handy for making our tea (we asked at the bar for a glass of milk which we kept in the fridge) Free modern safe - also free of charge! Beautiful view of Tiran Island. We had 3 twin rooms as there was 7 of us, grandparents, us and 3 children, 2 boys aged 12 and 15 and 1 girl aged 6 and all agree what a fabulous holiday we had. The animation team were brilliant, Marrow, mohammed, Beth, Emma, Evie and the rest! In fact all the staff couldnt do enough for us (we especially liked Mohammed by the pool who was always making us laugh) The food was really good with lots of choice and various restaurants. We would definately recommend this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hope to return soon!

Room Tip: Get the Taf Taf bus around the resort if you struggle with the steps around the resort

This was my second visit to the resort, and it was just as amazing as last year.
The animation team had improved in terms of getting people involved in activities, I have to say staff member Dave was amazing in being lively and getting everyone involved in the fun activities.
All the staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is amazing with amazing views of the Red Sea.

I Wouldnt normally write about the same hotel twice, but almost a year after our 2nd two week stay at the Sultan Garden resort,,we have just booked our 3rd two week stay for next month! The first time we went, from the second the hotel transfer guy picked us up as arranged (the hotel does this as a complimentary service free of charge) to arriving at the hotel reception to check in with a cool drink,,our holiday was amazing....So naturally we decided to go back again last year thinking it really couldnt get any better...but it was! From the awesome view from the room we were given,,,to the hard working guys who remembered us and greeted us like old friends with beaming smiles. We had a meeting with Basel the manager one evening which just happened to be my partners birthday, and on the off chance i asked him if we could eat at the italian that evening as id forgot to book (you can eat there twice per week)...his only question was what time! Halfway through the meal,,all the staff came over with a cake and candles singing happy birthday...what a touch! Any way,,,my first review on here went into detail about everything...all i want to say this time is that every positive review is that and more. So for us to be going back for a 3rd time, let that speak louder than any words. And if your reading these reviews to help you decide where to stay in sharm....this is the place for you!

Wow just got back from a fantastic weeks stay at the sultan gardens. We chose the hotel based on the reviews we read on here and we were not disappointed!
We had a suite (611) which was spacious and clean and in a fantastic location by the main pool and not too far from the lobby and the main restaurant. The room was cleaned everyday to a very high standard as was the rest of the hotel grounds.
The lobby, restaurants, bars, pools, gardens and beach were all very nicely maintained and we were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. Location was perfect just 10 mins airport transfer and both naama bay and soho square easily accessible in one of the hotels taxis.
A special mention has to go out to the hotel staff, all of whom were very helpful and professional and just so pleasant with it too! The service really was amazing, Ahmed at the al shalal pool bar and Ibrahim our waiter in the main restaurant really made our holiday. The animation team were really good too and worked tirelessly making sure guests were having a good time.
Snorkelling at the beach was nice but we did the ras Mohammad guided snorkelling trip which was unbelievable, never seen anything like it in my life and I'd go again tomorrow. If you choose this hotel you won't be disappointed, thanks sultan gardens! Charlotte and Justin :)

First of all I'd like to say I'm not sure why this hotel is so highly ranked. Not that it's bad but have found other hotels in Sharm equally as good.
Rooms are big and lovely but bathrooms were starting to look a little tired.
Grounds, pools and staff were all great.
However for all inclusive the food was especially good. In all other Egypt hotels I've stayed in I'm usually living off the pasta station after day two. But the food here was always hot and tasty with lots of choice and it's all clearly labeled so you know what you're getting.
Italian restaurant was also great but it's a shame you can only pick from a set menu. Would be much better if it was really à la carte.
All in all another great holiday in Egypt and would recommend this hotel. You'll have a great time.

Dear HadieSadie,

Thank you for choosing the Sultan Gardens Resort and for posting your review. We appreciate your feedback and would like to state that we believe our high trip advisor rating is due to our unmatched commitment to service and guest satisfaction. Many hotels say that your satisfaction is their number one concern but the Sultan Gardens Resort says it and does it.

Regarding the Italian restaurant, we are proud to report that our new Italian Restaurant opened in its new location on the 1st of July 2012. This new restaurant offers guests a la carte dining rather than set menus, partly in response to guest feedback which showed a preference for this style of service. The old Italian restaurant will be renovated and reopened as an Indian restaurant by the end of 2012, further adding to the choice and variety on hand in terms of dining.

Thank you again for your feedback. We hope you will return soon and we remain at your service.

Best Regards
