Arrived at this hotel late at night on the 20th June 2013 after a good flight with Monarch Airlines. Check in was very swift as was our luggage to our room.We stayed in room 1424 and we were not disappointed, the room was spacious and very clean,ok so the bathroom was a little tired but clean none the less and it was kept that way all week, The whole resort was kept spotlessly clean, too many people to name as they all worked very hard.I have to agree with other reviewers too re; pleasant staff.Although I will mention Sameh at the "Swim Up Bar" nothing was too much trouble for this guy, he worked tirelessly throughout the day and was very professional a "True Gent" a credit to the hotel. We went to this hotel for my 60th birthday (after much review reading) unfortunately the wrong date for my birthday was entered on the system(perhaps staff at reception could double check guests D.O.B when they are celebrating special birthdays) after all they do see our passports!! I mentioned it to the reception staff who informed me of their error then offered to send me a cake on the 25th this i declined as i felt it was too late,However the night manager(Michel Atef) heard of my disappointment and bent over backwards to rectify the problem by offering us a meal in Elements restaurant which we accepted and again I can thoroughly recommend this to future guests, the meal was delicous and well presented,as if this wasnt enough he also let us stay in our room till 6pm as an apology on our last day, many thanks again. We didnt have any upset tummys either. bonus!! Never a problem finding a sunbed despite the usual early bird towels on beds.Food needs bit more choice,I felt the serveries in the dining room inadequate at times but as others have said there is always some thing to suit every ones tastes and it is hot!! courtesy bus to Naama Bay is good too.very prompt. Taxi to Soho Square about £4 each way. Dont take my word for this hotel go and see it for yourself as we will be returning soon.(and its not very often i say that) Just wished some of the other brits on holiday here behaved a bit more courteously tho and used please and thank you to staff and dont keep banging doors to rooms as it is not necessary to slam them.
