“Lovely hotel for relaxation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

I stayed here for 2 weeks in October with my family. The hotel is beautiful and very clean with lovely views overlooking Tiran Island. There were plenty of pools but there is a problem with sunbeds as you dont get to have much sun as half way through the day the buildings shade over the pool areas. The best place would be the pool by the beach and stay on the side closest to the beach as you get the most sun there. The hotel is mainly a relaxing quiet hotel with nothing to do except snorkling and have stupid water polo twice a day which was a pain to be around.

The rooms were cleaned daily and we always had clean towels.

The food was absolutely fantastic every night. It was the best all inclusive I have stayed in, with different themes every night.

Most of the staff were fantastic and always made you laugh and feel very welcome. However some of the staff could be a bit cheeky asking me to come to Naama Bay with them or to meet them outside of the hotel. Most of them would be ok when I said no but one of the waitors in the restaurants acted like a child and ignored me for the rest of my holiday only asking my family if they wanted drinks and never me so I was usually without a drink until another waitor came along. He was supposed to be part of management in the hotel but still he acted like this with me!

Other than that all the staff were lovely especially Anton (bus driver) and Ali in the restaurant. absolutely lovely people.

The only other problem is the RUSSIANS!!! Oh dear god they have got to be the rudest, most arrogant people on this plantet. They treat the staff with no respect and treat them like dirt. My mum had numerous arguments with them there for pushing her out the way and pushing in at the bar. I take my hat off to the staff for putting up with these animals that we call Russians.

The spa was rubbish, my mum had treatments there and said that a child could give a better massage than the women in the spa. Not one person we met said the treatments were good so DO NOT GO THERE, it is a waste of money!!

Overall the holiday was lovely and is definately recommended for couples who want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms close to the beach are the quietest

We stayed here 1st to 8th November with our 10 year old son and had such a brilliant time.
The hotel is lovely and very well looked after and maintained , staff are constantly cleaning. The food in Tiran restaurant was better than average for an all inclusive and the BBQ on rooftop was lovely. We also paid extra and had a meal on the jetty which was amazing, the setting was beautiful and food was lovely. The pool areas were good, the animation team at the main pool were always friendly and asked if you wanted to join in with the different activities but left you alone if you were feeling lazy! In the evening, the main entertainment area did get crowded and on a few occasions we could not get a seat. However,we were more than happy to go to Zen bar and just sit and chill out by the sea.
We went to Naama Bay and Soho Square and of the two, we prefered Naama Bay. Although you do get more hassle here, it is much more lively and fun. We spent a brilliant evening at Cavallo / Sport cafe, ask for Chavi , he was brilliant and is now my sons new best friend.
We booked a sea view room and stayed in block 15, this was ideal for us as the view was lovely and we were roughly equal distance between the sea and the main building.
I think that what makes this hotel stand out from the crowd is the quality of the staff, although they all work very hard they are all so friendly and kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. Special mentions to Said and Peter in Tiran restaurant, Mohamed Fathy who made us a brilliant crocodile towel art, Mohamed Zaky in Elements, Mina the mini bus driver and Mustafa at the main pool, they all made a special effort and always went out of their way to talk to us and look after us.
We took a 2 hour speedboat trip from the hotel to Tiran Island and this was brilliant, we went on the 3'o'clock trip and I would recommend this as the sunset on the way back stunning. The snorkelling off the end of the jetty was really good, we had never tried this before and were amazed by the variety and colour of the fish. My husband and son also did their first scuba dive here, they dive centre really looked after them and it is an experience they will never forget.
Overall, the management and staff should be congratulated for running the hotel in such a friendly and attentive way and the hotel will definately be top of our list when we return to Sharm.

This was our first visit to Egypt- and we had a wonderful time at The Sea Breeze! All the staff are so friendly and would help you out in any way they could, they couldnt do enough for us. We would personally like to thank Imbrahim and Hany at the bottom pool as they were very sweet sorting out our sun beds every morning(miss you guys),also Aref at the bottom pool who is an amazing bar man, and was always smiling. Big thank you to our cleaner Mina who left our room spotless every day and always made us laugh with the animals he left us (made from towels). The other staff that made our holiday were the guys in Elements- such genuine lovely people, looked after us well at lunch times :). My husband and I had the romantic meal on the jetty one evening and me being a chef highly recommends this - absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection(we had the lobster, prawns, salmon, sea bass). This meal works out to be £50 a couple which is excellent value as the bottle of wine we had was £24 (Aida cuvee brut rose), desperately trying to find in the uk but to no avail :(.We found our room lovely and clean although the grouting in the bathroom isnt up to a 5* standard, but you dont spend your holiday in the bathroom!!The main restaurant - Tiran had a good variety of foods for all nations(lots of Russians and Arabs ), we actually found breakfast to be the best meal as dinner was quite a bit repetitive, and we were there for 9 nights. We had no issues with cleanliness in this restaurant, the waitors were quick to take away any dirty dishes. The evening entertainment was ok, could be improved slightly as nearly every night there were some kind of dancers on, the snake show was very good! The animation team- they are a young group who are friendly and very sweet and are very good with the kids! so the person who had so kindly commented that they need to be sacked or even shot should seriously be disgusted with themselves!!!!! My husband and daughter (14) both did the open water diving course from the hotels Anar diving centre, which they both enjoyed, takes about 4 days as Anar (instructor) turns up when he feels like in the mornings which by the third day we were used to, after all we were on holiday and time didnt really matter! Anar was fantastic with our daughter, had lots of patience with her, like to thank James and Jimmy too :). All in all we would definately return to sea breeze as it was a very relaxing holiday, we are already thinking about going back next October, it was hot enough for us in october, and the sea was still warmer than the pool when we were there! The only thing we would try and avoid would be Eid as were overtaken by Arabs for a long weekend and they turned out to be very rude and insulting to our teenage daughter. Keep up the good work guys- miss you all xx

Like most people I had checked the reviews for this hotel and chose it based on the high reviews.

Our stay was wonderful, the staff being the best part of the holiday. Our rooms were spacious and modern. There were more than enough pools and sun loungers.

The food was surprisingly fantastic. Being very passionate about food I was worried I would be put off by the quality but it exceeded my expectations. Great variety with different themes every night. Good variety of drinks and the staff will surprise you with different cocktails every day!

You can swim straight off the hotel's jetty onto a reef and snorkel, it was beautiful! There was plenty of excursions to choose from. We chose a snorkelling trip to Tiran island which was a whole day and included drinks and lunch, was well worth the £30 each.

Taxis are very reasonable (£4-£5 each way) and the hotel is situated very near to Nama bay (very hustle and bustle but good to get a bargain) and soho square (very cosmopolitan, don't get hassled.) the hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to and from Nama bay every night.

Our room attendant Nibal was fantastic, made wonderful towel art animals everyday and bought us extra water when I was unwell one day. The staff would really go out of their way to help you in anything you needed.

We also had some treatments in the spa. Although a big choice of treatments I did notice the cleanliness wasn't quite to the standard of the rest of hotel.

Overall we had a fantastic time. The hotel is not an 'English 5*' it is though 5* in service and the reviews truly reflect this. We are looking to return again next year for a bit longer and would love to stay at the sea breeze again.

In the middle of nowhere, with hotels on either side but fantastic if you just want to lay by the pool and do nothing. Conversely, there's nothing really for the kids to do, except one water slide. No beach - just stony sunbed terraces and a small pier from which you can snorkel in a netted area. Nice pools - only two are useful - the top and bottom - the rest stay in the shade most of the time. The morning towel farce is even greater than usual here, with pushy Russians trying to steal everything. If you can't beat them, then join them as we did - ask the poolside attendant to keep the same ones for you until you go and slip him a few bob at the end. The Russians reserve beds on all beaches and move with the sun (!) The staff are great - none of them pestered for tips at all - all cheerful and helpful, Food is good, canteen style. Mealtimes a bit of a mess and a scramble, but lots of variety - nothing particularly special - apart from the rooftop barbeque, which you're entitled to go to once a week - if you reserve. Local alcoholic drinks good - especially the Gin. The staff will dish out very watered down cocktails - easily circumnavigated by asking for cocktails and then a couple of glasses of neat doubles - they can't hide that so easily! Room lovely - clean, just like a jumped-up Travelodge. Make sure it's nowhere near the main hotel or you'll suffer the noise of the entertainment, even if you don't want it. Evening entertainment is a bit lame and there's nothing else to do - but then this is the perfect place to do nothing with your other half! Would I go again? Only if I wanted to go and do nothing again - definitely no kids!

Room Tip: Not a room facing the main hotel block!

Had a wonderful week at Xperience Sea Breeze Hotel. The thing which makes this hotel special is the staff, they are fantastic. Special mention to Mahmoud, our cleaner ( ROOM 1811) he did a brilliant job and his towel art amused us every day, Michelle Collin, Guest Relations, she really took care of everyone and Tarek Eid Hassan ,Food &Beverage Manager, he was around constantly and always ready to talk. Having mentioned those people theres one more person, Moustafa activity pool bar, what a star he is, hope the management appreciate him, he is constantly coming round the pool with cold drinks AND he remembers what you drink. To be truthful we didn't come across anyone of the staff who were unpleasant. Xperience you have top notch staff, keep hold of them !! Hold a staff meeting and praise them all.
We booked a deluxe room, yes it was worth the extra just for the view, sunrise over Tiran Island is fantastic, and overall money well spent.
Just a few niggles, deluxe room, maybe bathrobes AND a free mini bar. Now to the bathroom, well on first view it is a dream, 2 showers and a jacuzzi bath BUT boy does that shower leak. We spent a long time mopping the floor and wringing out towels. Hotel is aware of problem. Next small niggle, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE could there be some sort of drinks upgrade, I love a Mojito on an evening but had to pay extra as these were not on A I list neither were a few other well known cocktails. As I said just small niggles.
All in all we had one of the best holidays ever and hope to maybe return in Feb.Book this hotel and you will not regret it.

Room Tip: Pay the little extra for a deluxe room,

Just had a wonderful 8 days at XSB, this was our 11th time in Sharm, and can honestly say that overall this hotel is very good standard and value for money!!

The hotel room is spacious and modern, everything very clean although on a few ocassions, did find the towels to be a bit grubby!! Room cleaned daily and mini bar filled @ extra cost.... Good location room number 1223.

Food - good in buffet restaurant, always plenty choice and always hot!! Went to the Elements three times, and must say the food is spot on and the ambience and service exceptional. (Special mention goes to Wael who is very attentive and should be commended on his work).

Pools - all very nice, we went to the top pool everyday and we were well catered for there!! Towels out every morning for us and hardly ever needed to go for drinks as the barman/staff were always at hand with a nice cold drink!! Food there is a hit or miss, mostly good but at times food cold, but once you informed the chef it was alway rectified, the staff just can't do enough for you.

Bars - Lobby bar very nice, good drinks, and staff excellent and efficient (special mention to Emad (What a guy) Akram (Super guy) Eslam, bar manager) all these people deserve a big mention as they all work very hard and make your holiday most enjoyable!! Hope to see you all again if we return next year!!

Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone......

Thanks again to everyone at XSB, keep up the good work.

Lorraine & Phil, SCOTLAND

Room Tip: Any room from block 1200, upper floor had a bit of sea view.
