“Wonderful Hotel and Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2012

we stayed at the hotel at the end of January, for 1 week, we payed extra for a deluxe room overlooking the sea which was well worth it! Great views out to sea and the rooms very big bright and modern and a Jacuzzi bath, the food in main restuarant is lovely plenty to choose from and well presented, and a big thankyou to ibrham who always was there with our wine order when we walked through the door! A special mention to the two mohameds at the elements restaurant who arranged a romantic meal, well worth the £25.00 for the 5 course's and bubbly, was a lovely experience. The Zen bar down by the pool at the bottom was great for watching sports, and hani who clean's the toilets there and the outside area was always there with a smile. Another bar to try is the roof top bar, and you can have a go of the shisha pipe and it's all done in egyptian design with big rugs, cushions and a great place to chill out, and osama the bar man is cheeky but very funny! The best bit for us was just sunbathing and snorkling and you didn't even have to leave your sun bed as Mohamed at the beach bar was always there waiting on you with drinks, all in all if you want a lovely hotel excellent staff and just to chill out then it's worth taking a look at this hotel.

Room Tip: If you fancy a change from the hotel go to Soho square it has lovely shops and restuarant's and...

Stayed at Hotel for 2 weeks from 22/01/2012 and our 8th visit to Sharm. This hotel was the best yet overall but not in every respect as you can judge. The upsides:hotel and decor 5*,the staff 5*+,the food 5*+(For Egypt),the drinks best AI quality in Sharm, the pools 5* (Heated almost too warm) water slide great.Beds6*Walk in showers5*Sun loungers 6*(Wooden steamer style+4" mattress.Jetty for snorkelling and swimming best yet.Very wide steps so you can get in and outeasily even with flippers on!
Details now:Drinks pretty good.Coffee great,Gin and tonic very acceptable.Ouzo very good with water or Sprite.Red wine good, rose wine very good, white wine average.Beer draught good.Food really great for Egypt, always a carvery even had beef wellington and salmon wellington.14 nights 14 different theme nights for food and waiters dress accordingly.Breakfast good but orange juice terrible unless you like squash!! (Tip;take an empty bottle to breakfast and fill with fresh milk to keep in room fridge for morning tea or coffee) Soups were excellent.Waiters and staff tip top but Ibrahim deserves a special mention as after only a couple of visits he would arrive at your table with your favoured drinks plus water. The restaraunt was a pleasure to visit with linen on black marble tables glasses and linen napkins creating a pleasant welcoming look.
Now the pool service,Wow!! Aref at the Aqua pool (With slide) is very slim and no wonder,he never stops.Morning and afternoon he walks to ask for your drinks order then returns to bar to prepare them then brings to your lounger table.Even if you walk to the bar he insists on delivering them back for you. This service is repeated at the other pools and on the sandy terraces.Lunchtime he takes your order return to the chef who prepares your snack and Aref then delivers to your lounger table. We drew the line at this decadence and walked to the bar area to sit at a table.Almost too much service!! The towel man Joseph was great and always prepared your loungers for you Well done!
Now the downsides:You need to be fit to walk up and down the steep site. There is no beach to walk on,and outside the hotel ther are a couple of shops but again not suitable for a decent walk. Not enough hangers in wardrobe but you can have an iron and board on request. The fish on reef quite plentiful but for most spectacular varieties you need Om Seid Hill area but then I do underwater photography and am a bit fussy.
Reception did not have a library for used novels so I kick started them with my 5 books and they promised to start one.Wi Fi was advertised as free when I booked in November but on arrival they stated that it was only for the opening 2 months. So beware and the charge is £16 for 24 hours worth of internet connection spread over your stay so not bad.
Entertainment not great but the young team were very enthusiastic and they did have a belly dancer and a fire eater.
To summarise if you want a really chill out break with not a lot to do re entertainment then this is most definitely the place to try.

Room Tip: If you want to be near the beach choose a high number but neare to the restaraunts you need 12-14.We...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2012

We stayed at this hotel from 29th Jan- 12th Feb 2012. Right from the start the staff couldn't have been more helpful. As a mother and daughter travelling together, we had requested with the agent for twin beds. On checking in, it seemed this hadn't been passed on but it only took a few minutes and without fuss for them to re-allocate us, for which we were grateful. The rooms are a decent size, spotlessly clean and beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a powerful shower and no shortage of hot water, with plenty of fresh towels daily. Our cleaner did a wonderful job, especially with evermore creative towel art as the holiday went on!
We were all-inclusive and the Tiran restaurant is where most meals can be taken. The food is plentiful, varied and fresh and as someone who works in catering, I was impressed with the hygiene standards. However, it was a bit bland for our tastes. The service in the restaurant could not be faulted. All the waiters, especially Ibrahim, work extremely hard, remembering your favourite drinks and always with a smile. You can also eat lunch and snacks at two of the larger pools, the better of which was the aqua pool. The staff at "Your Bar" always gave wonderful and speedy service. We had read various guides about tipping before we left and we took plenty of pound coins as you can't get small denominations of Egyptian pounds in England. They were very appreciative but if you can, get Egyptian early on in the holiday as they can't change coins easily. We felt inclined to tip regularly, as the service was so good.
There is a small gym, with equipment that is more male orientated but I did find it slightly annoying that it didn't open until 9am. I think many people would prefer to exercise before breakfast, so that it doesn't eat in to quality sunbathing hours!
We spent most of our day on the tiered sunbathing terraces, where you got free beach towels and excellent drinks service and the snorkelling off the jetty was brilliant. We booked a boat trip with the Anar dive club which is onsite. Although the weather hampered our trip slightly, they could not have done more to make the day an enjoyable one. With experienced and very friendly diving instructors and a very tasty lunch, I would definitely recommend them.
As with all Egyptian hotels, they do have an entertainment/ animation team which can be a little annoying. They provide various activities throughout the day, which we appreciate some people do enjoy but we would have preferred the music to be played in the area the activity was in, as apposed to the entire beach area. Also there are quite a lot of Russians, which we found to be very rude and thoughtless to the other guests, although this is hardly the hotels fault!
There was not really anywhere you could walk to outside the hotel but it was fairly inexpensive to get taxis around.
Overall we had a wonderfully relaxing holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return and would recommend it to our friends.

We stayed at Xperience Sea Breeze for a week in February 2012 in block 18 which has excellent sea-views from the balcony. The area the hotel is located at is still undergoing development, therefore there are only a handful of shops and a pharmacy nearby, but the hotel runs a free shuttle-bus to Naama Bay (be prepared to be hassled here!) and Soho Square is only a short taxi-ride away.
The main restaurant is located above reception where all three meals take place, but you can also have lunch at the Elements restaurant by the sea-front pool. They serve mainly pizzas, salads, pasta dishes and sandwiches. Dinner is themed every night and rotates fortnightly including French, Italian, Indian, Seafood, Maroccan, Swiss, Oriental etc. We always managed to find something we liked, but admittedly some nights are better than others. Most importantly everything is washed in mineral water and that's what they use to make ice for as well so there is no sign of tummy bugs. During out stay the price of fresh orange juice was clearly marked and there was also a price list for the mini-bar in our room.
The Elements restaurant offers a 'Romantic meal' on the jetty which we would highly recommend to anyone staying at this hotel. For £50 / couple you get a bottle of bubbly and a five course meal (lobster, king prawns etc), the seafood served by Mohamed was probably the best we have ever had!

The main selling point of this hotel is its staff, they are all made our holiday memorable, special thanks to Ali, Adel, Mohamed and Ahmed from Your bar, Mohamed at Elements and Said from the pool bar.
I could go on for ages, but all in all this a lovely new hotel (I am not using the word 'resort' on purpose) probably best suited for couples. During our stay there was a real feeling of community which is due to its size. The management welcomes feedback and they keep an eye on Tripadvisor too so they can improve their services which is always a good sign. We would love to return to this hotel!

Room Tip: The sea-view deluxe rooms are definately worth paying extra for!

Have just returned from Xperience Sea breeze resort and for the first time felt like writing a review just because I and my wife had an extremely pleasurable Xperience (pardon the pun) with the Holiday

The hotel itself slopes down towards the sea. My wife has arthritis in the spine and although found walking down OK she had difficulty walking up. This was not a problem as the staff informed us on arrival that if we required transport up or down we merely had to press 0 (zero) on the phone and ask for a complimentary ride which would pick us up at our room and take us to the reception or ask at reception for a ride down to our room.

First let me say that the Hotel itself is new, the standards are high. The rooms are really nice, there was a HD TV, Fridge, kettle, hair dryer (in a drawer). There was also a free safe to store passports etc. we had the shower option there is also a Jacuzzi option. The rooms were cleaned each day in our case by a pleasant always smiling chap called Mohamed who left bottled water coffee sachets creamer sugar and tea bags and mugs every day of our stay.

The staff were always helpful with a sense of humour, Mohamed our cleaner would leave animals cleverly created out of towels in our room that always brought a smile to our faces.

At the lower pool (there are about 3 swimming and numerous others) Said was in charge of the drinks and Sahwil (I hope I have spelt his name correct) was in charge of the towels. There is a restaurant by the lower pool and the two chaps both named Mohamed took care of our snacks. The lower pool also has a bar and here both Said and Medhat looked after us. All of these people made our stay an extremely pleasurable experience.

The Main restaurant served a themed night that rotated over two weeks with a good selection of food. For the English be aware the Fish and Chips use the American meaning of chips (i.e. crisps) LOL.

Stayed at the Xperience from 2nd - 9th Feb. The hotel is very modern, reception area is lovely and reception staff eager to help.
We stayed in block 14 which is halfway down the hill. The room to be fair was lovely and the bed was massive. We tipped our maid a small amount daily and he made us some wonderful towel animals and made our room very pleasant.
We mainly stayed at the bottom pool and special thanks to Said and Samwuel for being so attentive. I must say all the staff were always pleasant and polite even staff we had little contact with.
We mainly eat lunch and dinner at the Tiran buffet restaurant. Though not as extensive as other hotels we've stayed in, there was always one or two things that were really tasty plus an amazing salad bar that could always be the fallback. We had no stomach problems either which is a good sign.
We had dinner in the paid for Elements restaurant and it was excellant. We even had the romantic meal on the jetty, which is amazing and the most romantic experience I've ever had. Mohammad really is attentive and make's it ever so special.
With the resort being quite small you meet lots of people, we spoke to so many different people and made some really good friends and had such a laugh.
The hill isn't that bad and if your not elderly or infirm isn't a problem. It helped keep the pounds off from the over indulgence.
Only negative point was that we paid for 24hrs of WIFI and for the whole week it wasn't working.
Best compliment I can make is that I'd go back tomorrow if possible.

Stayed at Xperience Sea Breeze Resort from 12th Jan to 19th with my other half.`

I have a couple of negatives to get out of the way first. ‘Amir’....not a fan. He was overbearing and outright leachy I found. He always seemed to pop up when all you wanted was some peace and quiet. However he is one person and I found the rest of the staff professional . Second niggle: The room whilst it was fantastic with the most comfortable of beds and great view (stayed in block 1800 (deluxe with sea view)...I have to be a little critical on the bathroom. I read all the previous reviews and thought things like ‘the grouting’ wouldn't really be an issue..and whilst it was sloppy and didn’t impact my stay ..other bathroom faux pas such as shower section not retaining the water and a moving shower screen could have been prevented by decent design/installation. However I didn't deem it serious enough to report to staff and it didn't detract from a great holiday so it's more of a note to the people at Xperience to take on board and hopefully make some changes for the better. Those issues remedied along with the grouting would make it pretty perfect.

I have to give a shout out to some staff who I think are a credit. Mohammed at Elements, Ayman (star of the show), the Tiran waiters and chefs, Ibrahim and the other guys at Your Bar whose names escape me.

Food

The food was a very good standard. We were going to try the Al la carte (Elements) but in the end didn’t feel the need to as the all inclusive food was to a very high standard.
Tiran: The variety of food was very good and a different theme each night prevented an monotony. The deserts were amazing. Looked forward to those every day.
Pool Bar: We ate lunch here on most days and indulged in the pizza, burgers, chicken sandwich and chips..etc

Room

As mentioned earlier. Very comfortable room and bed. I struggle to sleep in new surroundings, but was out like a light each and every night. Shower could do with some improvements. The room had a large flatscreen tv which had a large amount of channels. I found 3 channels that showed alot of American films so you could get some good viewing. The room came equipped with mini fridge, safe, hairdryer and kettle. Each day a new bottle of water was also delivered to you. Even though we had the deluxe room with sea view, I think if I went back we'd opt for a basic room next to aqua pool as that's where we spent most of our time and the private Jacuzzi didn't really get used.

Bars

We attended Your bar each night and ventured to Zen bar a couple of times as it's next to our room. Very nice all inclusive cocktails and the barmen did a very good job of creating their own cocktails for you.

Entertainment

The entertainment was ok. It didn’t seem to the standard of a Thomson, but it was still good. The animation team did seem to put a lot of effort into providing this for guests.

Facilities

The gym was very well equipped. I was quite surprised by this. There is an on site shop where you can get all your souvenirs. It’s the same stuff that you can get outside of the hotel so it's more convienent that it's on your doorstep. One word....haggle!!. I don't think they liked me much afterwards :o) The beach was not a beach in the true sense , but still very nice and it did enhance the view being a couple of levels up. The diving school was brilliant. Never thought I’d do diving, but it was so cheap ..I thought I may as well. Great experience!! Also there were other activities such as banana boat, parasailing..etc Lots of swimming pools to choose from and plenty of available sun loungers to utilise.

Trips

The hotel had its own rep that dealt with trips so don't worry about arranging your own beforehand. Ahmed was a very professional guy and outlined everything that was available to do. Again found this reasonably priced so did quite a few. Star gazing (included Camel ride in desert, dinner and meeting the desert people), Glass bottom boat trip and quad biking. All really good trips.

Miscellaneous

* Worth noting that if you go for the sea view room you'll be at the furthest rooms away from main entrance, Tiran restaurant, shop ..etc You are next to to Zen Bar, Pool Bar and Elements al la carte restaurant . As all Inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner served at Tiran..it's worth considering as it's a 5 to 7 minute walk uphill. Although if this does become too much reception can arrange a little shuttle bus to your room and back any time you wish it.

* Money accepted in Hotel and in general I guess. Euro, British Pound and American Dollar. So no real need to exchange money before setting off

* I read a couple of references to noise from the animation team. We stayed in a room right in front of the beach pool where they played the music and we barely heard a thing. If your balcony door is closed then no noise can get in :o)

All in all a great holiday. A few minor niggles, but it didn’t stop us from have a truly excellent holiday at a fantastic resort.
