“A wonderful Xperience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2011

What can I say?! We had an amazing stay. A 7 night all inclusive break. The Hotel is very modern with excellent facilities.Only a few months old. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking one of the 5 pool areas, a large bed with fresh, crisp egyptian cotton. Each day our room attendant- Reda, would make up our room and leave fantastic animal towel designs on the bed.
The Restaurant staff were always welcoming and very friendly, the food was buffet style, themed each day so no two days of food were the same and special dietary needs catered for by request.
There is a courtesy bus that takes you from the Hotel to Naema Bay and return in the evenings. Lots of shops selling all of your usual holiday tat and not particularly cheap.
We didnt feel the need to leave the resort as it has 5 different pool areas with bars and snacks, a spa and salon, water sports. Evening entertainment with the Animation team was varied from Karaoke, Magician show, Dancers and Bingo!!
On our last evening we enjoyed a romantic dinner for 2 on the pier. It cost around £50 but it was worth every penny!! It consisted of 5 courses-our main being Lobster, SeaBass, Shrimp and Prawn- all fresh local produce, AMAZING!! We also had Champagne. Highly recommended!!!
A wonderful week laying in the sun, with the staff of Xperience making our stay even more relaxing, a brilliant team. I would go back tomorrow. x

Just come back from 10 very satisfying nights at the Sea Breeze and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good value good quality break in Sharm.

As with most hotels in Sharm 5 star is probably 4 star in most other resorts but I can honestly say that having been to Sharm 3 times previously this was the best hotel I stayed at. Being only open for a couple of months means that all the facilities are very modern and of a good standard, although as others have said they clearly had some issues with the tilers and grouting but this is really only a minor issue and did not impact on the quality of our stay.

I will try and give an honest appraisal of all the important aspects that you should consider before booking a holiday in Sharm.

The Resort

Unlike some hotels the Sea Breeze is not sprawled out over a massive area, the hotel is built on a hill going down to the sea about 100 meters wide with the reception and the main restaurant at the top. There are five pools, There is a large pool about half way down with lots of sun beds and a slide as well as small adjoining spa and children pools and there is another large pool at the bottom of the resort with a swim up bar and again lots of sun beds.

The pool with the slide is the quieter of the two pools as the pool at the beach end is where the activities take place such as aqua gym, water polo and yoga which is accompanied by music which some people may find quiet loud although I found it just blended into the background and often found my foot tapping away to it whilst laying on a sun lounger snoozing. Unlike some hotels in Sharm all the pools were heated and were very clean.

There is also The Zen Bar and The Elements Restaurant at the beach end which provides and all inclusive lunch menu and an a la carte dinner (not AI) I will mention these when I talk about the food.

The Hotel also has its own shops selling snacks, leather goods, watches and the usual Egyptian market stuff at very reasonable prices for an on site shop. My partner bought 3 handbags for better prices than we could get at the old market. There is also 2 more bars at the top end of the hotel "Your Bar" for drinks and cocktails and the "L'Oriental" rooftop shisha bar.

The Rooms

The rooms are comfortable large and kept very clean on a daily basis. The beds are brand new so offer a good nights sleep, they are well sound proofed and the air conditioning is great. There is a mini bar with a selection of canned soft and alcoholic drinks as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has a walk in shower that did a good job of retaining water and a separate spa bath if you are booked in a deluxe room. As said before the tiling and grouting are not great but this didn't stop me have a good shower. The cleaners are very conscientious and do a great job. look out for the great towel art every day.

The Food

Always the most important aspect on an all inclusive holiday.

Breakfast is served in the main Tiran Restaurant as with most hotels in muslim countries, dont expect bacon and sausages! There is a selction of cereals, youghurts, fresh fruits, waffles, pancakes, salads, bread, cheeses and cold meats. If you prefer a cooked breakfast they have a live egg staion where you can get omletes, fried and scrambled eggs cooked to order and then a hot buffet of chicken and beef sausages, meatloaf, potatoes and beans or tomatoes. All was cooked well and very tasty and something for everyone and any appetite.

Lunch is a buffet style but we choose to have lunch at the Elemnets where you could choose snacks form a small menu such as burger, hotdog, spaghetti bolognese and so on. All very tasty especially the bolognese.

Dinner was done on a theme night basis, French, Chinese, Indian etc. They have 14 theme night so unless you are staying for more that 2 weeks you should not get repetition There is also pasta station, a good salad bar. I found the food to be of a good standard and tasty and always hot. As with most all inclusives the food will not always be to your liking but we found someting nice to eat every night.

We ate at the Elements 1 night which we had to pay for and founfd the food nice but not really much better than eating at the buffet. I would also recommend to eat out a couple of times. El Miseren at the old market is great value and very tasty traditional Egyptian food. And there are several good restaurants at Soho Square.

The Service

The staff are very friendly and attentive, they go out of your way to make your stay a wonderful experience. The waiters and barmen are always keeping an eye out and making sure that you glass is full, and whilst tipping is not expected it is nice to tip these guys ta bit during your stay as they really do work hard and make sure you are getting the best experience.

All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good quality hotel in Sharm El Sheikh at a very reasonable price. Would I return the answer is probably yes as long as they do not let things slip.

Thanks to everyone at the Sea Breeze for a great holiday!

Room Tip: Best Rooms in my opinion are on the blocks 16, 17 and 18

I have just returned from a week spent at the hotel. Considering the price we paid for the stay, the quality of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are good, very clean and very comfortable. The pools are very well maintained and the main hotel area is impressive.
The service from the staff really is excellent - they're happy to bring drinks and snacks to your sun-lounger. The hotel's wifi is also good; I was able to get fast speeds throughout the complex.
However, I would only say the food is average - none of it is bad, but it's all just a little bland. That said, I had a great week there.

Took the chance with it being new and not many reviews and stayed end of October 2011. Being new I envisaged a few teething problems, but encountered very few! The fact is that the level of service you receive here, where the staff REALLY go out of their way to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Take the restaurant for example Ali and Mohammed, not only remember your names but even the type of tea you prefer of a morning! The wine waters Mamoud & Eslam to name but two remembered your drinks, event to the point of remembering I like ice with my wine!.During the day we spent most of the morning until mid day around the beach, and how pleasant it was to have the place so well run by Romany and his team that you don’t encounter the frustration of beds covered with towels and no one using them. Joseph at the main pool bar was exactly the same. Ala carte is run by Mohammad whose attention to detail for his bars and romantic dinner setting was pure class. Finally a special mention to Saiad and his team, who kept my husband quite for the whole 12 days due to their speed of service.

We have just come back from a 7day stay at the Xperience Sea breeze 20th - 27th November.
We had a room in block 1401 which was a pool view ( ours was 1431) on the end so we got late sun up to 4.30pm. The pool was heated smallish but very nice.
The Cleaning staff ( Babil) was really helpful the room was cleaned daily to a great standard.
to say the hotel has only been opened a few months the showers are already looking tired with browing already appearing.
The staff in the resturant were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you, the food was very good we were able to create a enjoyable meal every time from all the choices.
We used the pool where the aqua bar was all the time as not wanting pool activities just chill out which we got.
The bar man Amir, Mohamed, and chef were great, recreation always put a towel on the beds each morning as you arrived, there was always beds available.
We often went down to the Zen bar at night after the entertainment finished as it was quiter down there, the bar Man Eissa was brillant company, and he was always doing peg stick tricks whch passed the time on.
We have never had a holiday where you do nothing, as you can't do nothing as there is nowhere to go unless you go in a taxi. All we did was eat, drink, relaxed and sleep.
(watched lots of films on 29,31 channel) we have come back totally chilled.

Amir Amir Amir Amir Amir, in AquaPool made our holiday great. His service was excellent, he was always happy and made us laugh every day. Amir is certainly an asset to the Sea Breeze. I went on this holiday to get a break from the pressures off work and my time with Amir certainly helped me put things into perspective. Thank you Amir for everything, all the food and drink and the godd times.
I have to add that all the staff at the hotel are excellent and you will have your own special relationships with many.
The hotel has only been open a few months and I think there is a bit of learning to be doneif they want to call it 5star. The workmanship in the bathrooms seems to be sub standard and the quality of the tiles and fittings are not great. The grouting has become very discoloured, which makes the bathrooms look dirty.
Some of the rooms are joined with 2 doors, with the idea that larger parties or families can go between rooms. This may be a problem if you dont need this option as the noise from your neighbours is very audible through the door.
The food is very good and the main buffet restaurant changes theme every night, but after a few nights even though the theme changes, the food seems to become very familiar. I also don't think the restaurant would be big enough if the hotel was at 100% capacity. There is no al a carte option on the al inclusive, but there is a paid option in the Elements restaurant. I think this restaurant is wasted, it was empty every night. Its a shame to because the guy that runs the restaurant, Mohamed is fantastic, I have never seem anyone try to please a customer as much as he did with us the night we went to hus restaurant.
They should make it all inclusive some nights to get people in.
The bars were good, but i couldn't get any imported drinks, even if I wanted to pay. They do advertise them on a menu, but they hadn't got any. The local drinks are just ok. Again the bars were made much better by the attentiveness and the friendliness of the staff.
The hotel is situated right on the sea, but there is no beach. There is an excellent pier belonging to the hotel, which has access to the sea, and the spot is amazing for diving and snorkelling. Loads to see so close to hotel. Outside the hotel grounds there is nothing, and each if the main areas such as Naama Bay and Soho square are a 5 min taxi away. The hotel has shuttle bus to Naama bay every evening, but be careful when getting off the bus. Very often someone from one of the local shops meets people getting off the bus and tells evryone to follow him to arange for the return shuttle bus. This is a con and he will give you a business card to return at 11pm to get the bus home. But the last shuttle bus will be at 10.30 so you then have no option to get a taxi, which he so applogetically arranges for you and more than likely gets his cut. Just stick to the hotel timetables and you will be fine.
The hotel has a Spa , with steam room, sauna and gym. The gym is free to use but the steam room and sauna were not, I found this surprising. There are treatments in the Spa, and while they were OK they were nothing special, nothing like a 5 star spa in Uk.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay and it was excellent value for money, considering what we paid to stay here. The hotel is advertised in some places as 4 star and others as 5 star. It is probably 4 star but i'm sure the management will make some changes as they progress to improve the hotel further.
