We have just got back from this new hotel called Xperience Sea Breeze Resort in Sharks Bay. We stayed for 7 nights from 2nd to 9th October 2011. It was a choice between visiting Dubai or Egypt in celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We were taking a very big risk in selecting Xperience because this hotel has just opened. There are no write-ups within trip advisor.com so it’s a pleasure to be one of the first English guests to do so. We are very happy to report this hotel certainly lives up to its name. What an experience! I had to fight back tears of joy on my departure as the hotel management team and staff made our stay extra special. I’m not joking; that’s the truth.
There are many hotels in Egypt that rate themselves 5 stars but fall short of this rating. Xperience is certainly a 5 star hotel and the food is of incredible high standards. The head Chef Abauzeid should be on Master Chef. What a fabulous cook and such a nice caring guy. The hotel is a very high standard and deserves its 5 star rating. I could spend a whole day writing up our experience but I won’t. I prefer to get straight to the point.
The animation team has already delivered an excellent atmosphere you would expect from any long established hotel. We decided to stay within the hotel complex for the whole week and only ventured out on two evenings taking advantage of the hotels free shuttle bus to Naama Bay. The six swimming pools are exceptional and the view of the Red Sea is beautiful. The hotel has an awesome jetty where you can do some diving or snorkeling as and when you feel like it; right on your door step. The fish and reef are fantastic. God is GREAT. One of the swimming pools has a water slide that is so much fun. I felt like a child once again. Just GREAT for kids. I loved it.
This was our 4th time to Egypt ;three inside Sharm. This hotel was different to any I have ever stayed at. They have water Polo that gets all nations playing and talking together. I normally keep myself to myself but on this holiday that had changed. I’m back in England with contact details of other European hotel guest and staff.
The best thing about this hotel besides the pools, snorkeling restaurant, food, comfort etc, has to be the staff. They made you feel special and we were treated like king and a queen. Look for a bar man called Ahmd who works in the bar closest to the peer. He has to be one the best domino players in the World. He could serve drinks to guests and play domino at the same time. He beat me easily along with other European guest at the pool bar whilst working. Ahmd is very clever and at the same time very humble. Amazing guy!!!!! I have never had such an international experience like this anywhere in the World except at Xperience Resort. There was nothing outside of the hotel but you don’t need to venture out as the resort offers GREAT food, entertainment and comfort. Taxis are so cheap anyways; if you ever want a change of scenery. Don’t forget the daily FREE shuttle bus to Naama. Another great guy that comes to mind is Michel of reception. He made our overall stay one to remember. He sorted out our airport transfers when we heard nothing from our transfer company. He also introduced us to the hotel and accompanied us to our awesome sea front room.
The gym and kids club were still closed during our stay and we would love to come back when all the facilities are open shortly. There were no disruptions during our stay even though work was been done to complete the resort. So dont worry. You will love this place.
I would not recommend this hotel to any person having walking difficulties or wheel chair users because you have to walk up and down a slope and steps to get around. However; there is a shuttle bus is that is constantly available for people who don’t want to walk. This bus is constantly going up and down. GREAT service.
Also; the beach next door at Sultan gardens is private and you’re not permitted to walk on it. I suggest you reverse your ‘All Inclusive’ wrist band to prevent next door security from intercepting you.
Xperience Resort does not have a standard sandy beach as such but does have lots of sandy areas with the usual sun loungers and umbrellas with a stunning view of the Red Sea. We originally wanted a beach holiday before coming to this resort but did not miss it one bit because we felt like we were on a beach the way they have smartly designed the complex layout.
What’s so GREAT about Xperience when comparing it to its neighbor hotels is its peer with awesome coral reefs and selection of fish. Not forgetting the resorts six swimming pools with lots of sun loungers. This certainly makes this resort one we want to revisit. It’s all amazing. This year we have travelled to Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cyprus, California and now Egypt. Xperience Resort stands out for me along with California.
Finally; would we recommend this hotel to anybody thinking about visiting Sharm? YES YES YES .
Hope to revisit this resort one day in the future. God Willing. Many thanks to all members at Xperience.
