just returned from this hotel - all in all we paid a cheap price and got what we paid for. We had booked a room with a terrace or balcony, on arrival we were shown to a room in the basement that did not even have a window. Refused to stay in this room and were shown to a room in the middle of the hotel - again not even a window. When we complained that we had paid for a balcony/terrace were told that none were available. Saw the Rep who managed to sort out the room we had paid for, a ground floor room with a terrace looking across the pool, very nice room with adequate facilities Credit goes to the rep for his efforts. The food was not very good and was invariably only luke warm even when the restaurant had just opened. However, we usually managed to find something to eat. The all inclusive package was from the bar was from 11am - 11pm and service was very good. Pool area is small but appeared to be adequate for the number of guests and the pool man was very good, had your bed ready with towels on for you in same place each day. The downside was the large numbers of russian guests who were rude and pushed you out of the way to get at the food. We saw plates piled high, even though you could go back as many times as you liked, and a lot of the time only half of the food was eaten. There were a lot children again with no manners I never heard one say please or thank you. The staff are very friendly and make an effort to speak to you. The young men who cleaned the rooms were very good and decorated the beds with flowers or towels made into swans - nice touch. The hotel has its own beach, but I would not reccomend it. It is at the very end of the beach area and the sun beds all so close together you can hardly walk between them. The toilets were filthy and the floor appeared to be rather dodgy, we stayed about 10 mins and left. I would not have wanted to eat down there. We looked at the beaches belonging to the other hotels which were far superior All in all as I said we got what we paid for and it was adequate. You get the usual pestering "come into my shop" but again they are only trying to make a living and if you said no and carried walking they gave up. The shopping area looks very drab during the day but at night all the coloured lights come on in the shopping arcades and the bars and restaurantsand the whole place looks very different. It is lively and is pleasant to walk round. Prices are reasonable and you can always haggle.
