“Nice vacation - will return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We spent a nice week in this hotel. Overall the premises and service was good/very good, except Daria...she was great! :-)) I would like to thank her for her kindness and readiness to help and organise things for our comfort.

The food was ok, but we missed some more and diverse fresh fruit.

The red flags you can raise on the beach to signal "sellers" and agents to leave you alone are perfect idea. Something like this we are missing in other hotels.

We are planning to return to this hotel next year. See you there.

Just returned back, travelled with family 3 adults and 1 child(2 and half year). When we arrived there was no welcome drink at all, instead they told us to sit down and wait until they are sorting out our passport. After half an hour I went to reception asked what is happening, and they said they thought we went for dinner. We got a room in the end of the resort close to the sea, (I gave them 10Usd tip for good room) but it only had 2 beds and a folding bed. Where is my daughter going to sleep? I went to the reception asked what is going on, finally we received an upgrade to family room . This was nice effort from hotel receptionists.
Food: Terrible, poor,..... always the same, loads of cheap food, liver, wings.
Loads of waiting to get food in the buffet restaurant regardless whether is breakfast lunch or dinner. You have to hunt for empty table everyday. Warm drinks, no Ice. By the pool there is the worst pizza I have ever had. There is only pizza, and some sort of beef liver in bun. This is what you will get by the pool if you do not go to the buffet restaurant. Ice cream selection: chocolate, very rare, strawberry or vanilla but only 1 choise at time. Very poor hygiene of buffet areas outdoor and indoor as well. All of us had diarhhea and vomiting during our trip. This was the first hotel where we did not get pineapple or strawberries. Watermelon once per week and a mile long waiting. Staff at bar rude.
Russians everywhere, and the staff is approaching you in Russian language. Russian music played the pool.
Rooms are old, not refurbished, dirty, specially the bath. Water leek from ceiling by the bathroom door.(room 15109) . ( I tipped every day).
Garden is ok , well maintained. pool side is fine, there is enough sun loungers.
Did not meet our expectations, will never go back and would not recommend to go there.
Entertainment team ok. Kids disco ok. A la carte dining room ok, been to Mexican and Italian. You have to be awake till midnight to be able to book it, what a joke :).

Just got back from a 10 day break. This was our first visit to Egypt. Had a wonderful time. Very comfortable and clean accomodation. The arrangement and setting of the pool complex is one of the best I have ever enjoyed. The staff are simply wonderful. Everyone is just so friendly and helpful.
The choice of food in the buffet restaurant was varied and excellent. Of the a la carte restaurants we visited the Egyptian and Italian Restaurant. The fayre at the Egyptian restaurant is turkish based and I had the "King Tut" which was lovely. We visited the Italian twice and I had the steak twice and on both occasions it was superb.
I would also recommend a visit to the Seafood restaurant . Access is via a short boat trip from the end of the jetty. The food was superb and its a lovely location.
The resort is located next to the beech and we often shared our time between the pool and the beech.
There were plenty of sun parasols available. The beech has a gentle sloping access into the sea.
There were a lot of Ukraine/Russian guests at the hotel and their demeanour is not the most friendly but if anything, this helped us more easily form bonds with the other English guests.
We took an excursion to Luxor which included a cruise on the Nile and 1 night sleep over.
Our guide was Rabie and he was excellant. Don't be put off by the street sellers. Yes they can be a bit of a nuisance but we did not ever feel harrassed or threatened.
Since the revolution there has been a dramatic drop in tourism and these are the people who have felt the consequences most, and whilst they are noticeably keen for your business, they were never rude or disrespectful.
All in all we had a magical experience in Egypt and we will definately be coming back !!!

After been left for 1 hr and half gave me a backyard family room. I thought they might giving it free fir poor people. I checked with my travel agent and he told me that they will changed if you asked.
I asked from 20 min and they told me no availability and they will check with the sales manager. How no availability and they will ckeck.
I will spend my vacation and every free time I will have in writing bad reviews about those liars.

Brilliant holiday.
Asian restaurant is superb and thank you to Eslam, Mahmood and chef.
Oriental restaurant and Hossan and his team are marvellous.
Mexican restaurant and Karam and Sabray are wonderful.
The Italian is ok if you want pizza and pasta, don't expect much more.
Animation team are improving everyday. Thank you Cico and Fern for my washboard stomach from stretching.
Get a cab into Hurghada town, brilliant experience, loads of shops to haggle at, chat to the locals and plenty of places to eat.
If you get a dodgy tun, aniseed and peppermint tea and eat the contents of a yellow label teabag. Sorted!
John the jeweller makes lovely things but he wants you to spend time chatting and always wants to up the agreed price. Just say no and smile and he'll make it anyway.
Bag shop and papyrus shop at Garden Beach are worth a visit and haggle strong to get good deals.
Cannot fault this place at all. But the hotel could recognise the loyalty for having been four times and maybe a gold band or royal breakfast one day would have done this. Go here and relax and enjoy, they can't do enough for you. Please treat the staff with courtesy, smile and say thank you. Costs you nothing and worth more than gold to them. Enjoy

What can we say!

Although our daughter, her husband and our grandchildren have been a few times, this was our first time in Egypt. From the moment we arrived the staff at the hotel were excellent. We were very quickly processed through check-in and shown to our rooms, which was great after a long flight.

We had booked garden view rooms, these were on the ground floor but very close to the pool area and near to the beach. The pool attendants, especially the two Ahmeds were excellent. Very attentive and looked after our every need for the entire holiday, and also Samy who was with us for
the first few days but then moved to the beach area.

We were in rooms 20000 block and our room attendant Mohammad was one of the best. It was our daughter's birthday while we were there and he decorated her room which was truly a work of love and art. Thank you Mohammad for attention to such detail. The children loved the animals you made out of the bed covers and towels.

We also have to commend the Animation Team. What a great team!! I understand that most of them were new themselves but they sure made us feel welcome. To Cico, Nimo, Ebru, Fern and of course our Irish Dancer (the great Fabio Flatley). Still working on getting Fabio a world tour with Riverdance. (Apologies if we have forgotten someone - this includes the lovely blonde girl who only at arrived the day before we left).

Exercises were good with Aqua Aerobics and Pilates classes. My husband is still recovering!!

Thanks must also go to Laura (who helped to arrange our daughter's birthday party at the Italian restaurant) and also to Nina who went to great lengths to try to resolve an issue we had with the on-site clinic.

As we were only at the resort for one week we didn't get to try all the restaurants. Italian was very good but wouldn't recommend the Oriental. The night we ate there was very hot and only option was to eat outside so no air conditioning and the food not that great.

One word of warning - if you have to make use of the medical clinic make sure you ask the cost before you ask for ask for any advice!!!! With no treatment whatsoever this can be costly.

A great hotel with excellent staff and had a wonderful holiday. Thanks to all and we would certainly come back.
