“nice place to dive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

not the best place to dive near hurghada, but you can go there and have nothing to loose, average place for red sea. i recomend this only for a dive, not a full day dive, combined with some other dive site near this.

“Bliss but only on a calm day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Last time I was here HEPCA were putting in a mooring so the experience wasn't a peaceful one !
This time although the trip was choppy the dive itself was worth the trip, free swimming Morays, Blue-Spotted Rays aplenty, watch out for the Crown of Thorn Starfish, a few years ago they were devastating this reef, now its coming back to its former glory through monitoring of their numbers. Very exposed so not a regular, dependant on conditions, Dive guides on their day off opt for this site, as isolated there is the chance of seeing some big stuff out in the blue.

“Lots to see”

Great place to dive, average corals, good fish population.

Spotted quite a few morays and a lovely turtle last time I was out there.

“Viewed by Dolphin glass bottom boat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

As over sixties, an excellent way to see the sea life of the reef. The weather was cool and windy in March so it was chilly on deck. The crew were brilliant providing singing, dancing and 'towel art' on the journey back, everyone joined in with tambourines, drums etc. A really great experience - woiuld recommend it, really good value at 20LE
