“Luxury Hotel with some comments”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Just spent 4 days at this amazing luxury hotel in Hurghada, a very quiet resort on the sunny warm Red Sea coast with amazing sandy beach which should be considered in every beach hotel in Hurghada as a lot of them with stone beaches
Several pools available which were not our choice but it seems important to others. Simpa Kids club staff was professionals; they succeed to take attention of my baby and made her always smiling.
The rooms are very clean and well equipped. All of them with amazing view of pools and Red Sea, but higher floor should be considered
Very helpful friendly staff (except front office non smiling team) Special thanks to Restaurant staff which do great efforts making it great and clean place (they succeed to take attention of my baby and made her always smiling to let my wife enjoying the food) .The food is excellent in the main restaurant where we ate most days (we were on half board) with amazing Candles light. Dinner in beach restaurants (Tanga and Alexander) was very difficult under the attack of insects. We were surprised with Dinner dress code (forbidden clothes during dinner) although it’s not accepted in beach hotels (German owned Hotel)
It is perfect place for Hurghada vacation but (dinner dress code, front office staff ………..)

Room Tip: Room with high floor ( Deluxe room is a minimum )

Had a very enjoyable one week stay here. Very spacious and clean room with bath and walk in shower and plenty of storage space. Staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was more or less the same each day but had plenty of variety. Plenty of choice at lunchtime with some freshly griddled meat/fish available. Dinner took the form of a different theme each night - again with some of the menu being freshly griddled meat/fish. Couldn't fault the service in the restaurant or anywhere else for that matter. First time on an All Inclusive basis and if this is the standard it won't be the last time.

A monumental building with impressive lobby and excellent grounds, one of the largest shapeless

pools in Hurghada. An excellent heated pool partly indoors. The indoors is a very inviting whirlpool

with several jets for body massage. The Spa zone is equivalent to that of 5 star hotels in Europe.

Open buffet meals offer a large variety of dishes .,meat and fish are imported ,the German Chef

could use fresh Red Sea fish. The flair is German , disciplined correct, but impersonal . There

are other hotels that give every guest a special attention and warmer welcome.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are all good , categories differ in room size

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, The place is amazing starting by the hotel entrance, lobby, reception with beautiful lily flowers & piano player. Every one was welcoming. Rooms are clean, spacious well organized. The food was good with different varieties. Great pool area, 2500 meters jogging track (we had nice time cycling there). The only draw back I think is of the dead corals at the beach.

Lovely hotel in a lovely resort, no nice beach though but a nice pool. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom is good. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I highly recommend the hotel if you're looking to be pampered.

m in Hurghada every month for work but this was the first time I have stayed at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach which on this occasion was for a holiday with my wife. This is a standard 5 star hotel but what sets it apart is the arrogance and unfriendliness of a significant number of the staff (there are of course some exceptions) commencing at the front door through to the lobby and front desk). > > The lower level staff such as the room attendants and room service were great but not enough to make up for their more senior colleagues. The layout of the main restaurant is smartly conceived; when entering the outlet, the buffet seems endless…but you quickly find out that the dishes displayed are repetitive… > > The room we stayed in was…ok; our neighbors were not! The hotel was hosting a huge group (or several groups?) of Egyptians Clients… who were honestly very noisy! > > The noise was covering the music of the great live piano player coming to entertain our evening… such a shame, no respect for the artist. > > The entertainments offered during the evenings are refined (nothing to do with the family-club-dance-of-the-hotel-style) which is a plus for the hotel. However, it was difficult to enjoy when surrounded by loud people around. > > I will never stay here again nor will anyone in my company

We stayed at the hotel after a week on the Nile, from walking into reception we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were very spacious, bathroom had bath and wallk in shower, dressing room and a large balcony.
The food was buffet style on all meals, there was something for all tastes. We found all the staff very attentive nothin was to much trouble and the attention to detail was very immpressive, how many hotels come round the pool asking if the can clean your glasses.
First time we have stayed All Inclusive, food and drink was freely available and we were often having to refuse.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view.
