We get 4 years in this hotel, it is a bit dated but very clean and located in the old city hurgada. This year we were there in November and we have not noticed anything of unrest, we felt perfectly safe.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful holiday again.

We stayed here as part of a diving holiday, just on a B&B basis. The room was huge and clean, mattress very comfy. The evening entertainment was very loud but we drowned it out by using the aircon which was even noisier. The bathroom was clean and towels provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and problems dealt with quickly, such as when the aircon broke down, also one evening we returned from diving to find the lights in the room not working, plus 2 mornings when there was no hot water, all sorted promptly. There was a safe in the room with a key at no extra charge. The elevators seemed to have a mind of their own and were slow, but got us there eventually and we just learned to allow more time to ascend/descend! Breakfast was great with a crepe station, all manner of cooked foods including omelets made to order, plus fruit, salads, cheeses and cold cuts, pastries and breads, teas, coffee and 'juices' (which we suspect were made from powder). The neighbourhood was old and run-down but felt safe enough. There are bars and bistros nearby with free WiFi, decent food and wine too. If we returned to Hurghada we would stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of August. The building is an older building located in the old town. As far as location some folks may be whizzed out by the condition of the neighborhood. It's not unsafe; it just looks rough with a number of run down buildings. The hotel is maintained reasonably well. The room was big and the a/c worked OK. The beach at the sister beach property is a short walk. The beach is narrow but nice enough. The pools at both properties were big. I wasn't all all inclusive but I did pay to eat in the restaurant one night. The food was adequate for the price of about $11 for dinner. Breakfast was fairly standard budget/mid range all inclusive. Plenty of bread, pastries, coffee, and orange Tang stuff. There was an egg station as well.

If you are looking for an afordable hotel, pick this one. Not a 5 star hotel, but best service you can get. People are so willing to help with whatever you need. Friendly people. Location is quiet, but it's easy to get transported to Marina or Sakala by taxi. And it's safe to go to Hurghada. I've just been there for 3 weeks and never felt unsafe. I hope things get better soon and people start traveling again to Egypt and it's wonderful history and great diving places
