Between my boyfriend and I this was our 5th time in Hurghada, so we had a pretty good idea what to expect from the hotels and the services.
Of course, 4 stars in egypt is not the same as 4 stars elsewhere in the world, but this place is clean and well taken care of.
The location: it's a little further away from the center than many other hotels, it took us almost 30 minutes to get to from the airport. Taking a taxi to the shopping areas was also about 15 minutes away, so this isn't the busy center. We liked that because we were looking for a quite and relaxing place. But if you're into nonstop shopping or discos, this is not the place for you.

The hotel: We paid extra for the pool/garden view and it was well worth it. We got a first floor room in the part of the hotel by the theater and right by the pool - there're 4 pools in the resort and we found this one quiet and empty enough that we didn't go elsewhere for much of our stay. Everything was still close enough, even restaurants and the beach, so you won't end up walking too much.
The sea is very shallow but there's a pier around which people swam and snorkeled.
AC worked without problems. Beds were nice and firm.
Cleaning staff was efficient but didn't create crazy towel creations - if you're into that sort of thing.

The food: it does get repetitive after a week, but they try to keep it interesting by thematic nights (italian, barbecue, ..), local food options, grill and salad bars, soups, lots of pastries and breads and fruit. We always has something to choose and they also have a special diet section with lightly seasoned ingredients.
There's also an italian and an arabic restaurant in the resort, you can book your dinner there too a day in advance.

The drinks: we booked all inclusive and got to drink nonstop at the pool and the hotel bars. Just know that they do not provide bottled water, only water tanks and soda machines - some people are hesitant, but I drank it all during the stay and was fine the whole time.

Overall, it is a nice relaxing place where people care about their guests, but do not go completely out of their way - so you don't feel too bothered.

I have recently returned from an unforgettable holiday,not only did I suffer with a chronic stmach infection,I was also unfortunate to be offered one accomadation for three persons instead of three single occupancy rooms.The management and reception were very rude,unhelpful and not in the slightest interested in the stress and anxiety it caused the party I travelled with !

It is a beautiful place to spend your holidays in. A quite resort in a beautiful city. Rooms were fantastic with a beautiful view from windows. Staff are very entertaining for visitors on the beach, especially for children who have special care. Food is fine of different varieties. Night time attraction starts in the resort theater when staff play daily show which is really nice .

Food isn't amazing, but there is always something. Beach bar food was always ok. Beach is beautiful, clean, plenty of sun beds & pool bar is good. The best thing about this hotel is the cleanliness (and I'm very fussy). All Staff are friendly (with the exception of hotel reception, they rarely smile and can make you feel a little uneasy when asking a question, luckily we didn't need to go to them much)
We were given room 703, whilst it was clean it was also dark, old & very tired looking with no balcony or terrace, I knew I couldn't live in this room for 2 weeks, it's always nice to sit out on an evening. We were moved with little hesitation to room 153, different story altogether, now I felt like I was on holiday, clean light, bright room with a balcony & a pool in view, perfect!
The staff are always on the go keeping the grounds clean & well kept.
Entertainment wise we can't really comment as it doesn't really cater for the 'Brits' more the Russians & Germans. But we were happy to keep to ourselves. Only a couple of other British couples are the resort. It's a massive complex and seems like a good place for kids & water sport lovers. Nobody bothers you at this resort once you say no they happily leave you to relax.
Not for meeting other couples, 20mins (£10 return in a hotel taxi) from hurgada town.
Perfect for a chill out with your partner or friends, relaxing on the beach or by the lovely pools.
