“Lovely hotel”

We stayed at titanic beach spa and aqua park from 27/09 - 11/10 and had a great holiday.

Our room was lovely and very clean, with beautiful towel statues every day made by our cleaner. We also got left 2 bottles of water and a big bottle of soft drink (fanta/cola/sprite) in our fridge every day. Only problem we had with our room was there was only 2 sockets in the room and none of them were near the mirror (Not good for us women who need to dry/straighten our hair!) Other than that, the room was perfect.

The pool area was really nice and all the pools were kept really clean. The swim up bar was fab, cooling off in the pool with a nice cold beer :-) The staff at the pool bar were brilliant and would bring your drinks over to you as soon as they seen your cup was empty, which was really nice. The one problem was that the plastic cups were nearly always dirty, I complained about this quite a few times which never seemed to made a difference. One time I even had cigarette ash in the bottom of my drink...

The lobby bar is not nice. For some reason there was always a really awful smell coming from behind the bar and again the glasses were never clean. My boyfriend got a beer from there one day and it smelled disgusting, he told the barman and he got him another which was the same, we were then put off and said it doesn't matter, as we walked away I watched the barman quickly rinse the glasses under the tap and then put them back out to be used again!! We never used the lobby bar again.

Most nights we would sit outside at the shisha bar which is lovely. The glasses are always clean and the beer is much better from there! The staff were always polite and very helpful, especially Omar, who would bring our drinks over to us every night without us even asking! He would remember what each of us drank, even tho he was always really busy, we would never be kept waiting.

The beach is gorgeous! It has a long jetty which you can get a bus down (only a 10 minute walk tho) and can go snorkelling/diving off the end of there which is amazing! Lots of different colourful fish to see. The staff on the beach were really friendly and helpful, bringing you mattresses, tables or ashtrays if you needed them. The staff at the beach bar were the opposite - rude, unhelpful, lazy and pervy!

Food wasn't good the first week, There was only the Jack restaurant open and after eating nothing but bread for 4 days we complained to the manager Mr Hisham who was very helpful and after that the food picked up. In our second week the Rose restaurant opened which was much better and had more variety. At lunch time you could get fried chicken, steak, fries, salad, bread and ice cream from the Chinese (through the day it's a snack bar, you can eat here every day if you wish). The Italian wasn't good when we went but some people we spoke to said it improved in the second week. The Lebanese was nice, chicken and beef kebabs, hummus, pitta breads etc. The Chinese was the best tho and the staff were wonderful, especially Mohamed, he was always working so hard and really looked after us for the 2 weeks we were there. On our second week the Titanic Palace opened so we got to eat at the Indian and Mexican which both were gorgeous! Best food we ate in the 2 weeks we were there.

The animation team have got to be the worst I have seen in Egypt, so lazy, ignorant and uninterested in speaking to anyone English. Most of the time they were too hungover to put any effort into the morning dance or ask guests to join in activities. The chief animator, Gio, was so rude and arrogant! ,Then we met Papa, who was completely different to the others, he was fun, enthusiastic, always happy and spoke to everyone. The next week a new animator started called Fichal who was very like Papa. Papa and Fichal were the only ones to make an effort, encourage people to join in activities and made time to speak to everyone.

I used the beauty salon once and was mortified - Don't let them talk you into getting your face/eyebrows threaded! With your stay at the hotel you each get a free 20 minute massage and ladies get a free hair wash and blowdry too which you can use whenever you like.

The aqua park was brilliant, with it being so quiet we never had to que which was great!

Overall we had a lovely time and didn't let the few problems we had ruin our holiday. The hotel was pretty quiet because of the trouble in Egypt. Hurghada is unaffected by the trouble and we felt completely safe while we were there.
We would stay at the titanic beach spa and aqua park again and would also like to try the titanic palace.

We stayed here for a week after having visited Sharm previously.

Having read some of the reviews here I have to say I was a bit concerned about what was going to find and was worried about the hotel being deserted, staff rude etc. bit this could not be further from the truth.

The hotel is massive and attached to the Titanic Palace which is not open due to low visitor numbers. The rumour was that guests who had booked there were being downgraded to the Titanic Beach instead; I don't know if that's true but we estimated it was at less than 50% capacity as there are two large buffet restaurants and only one was operating. This suited us as there were never any problems finding sunbeds, no big queues at meals and generally it was quite quiet, although the numbers did seem to increase noticably in the last couple of days of our trip.

Our room was smartly but simply decorated and spacious with views across the pool between the hotels and to the sea in the distance. It had all the facilities you would expect including mini-bar with fresh bottles of water being left for us every day. We had two beds, each the size of a small double. The room was cleaned immaculately every day. The only thing I would criticise would be the air conditioning, which was sometimes a little noisy, and on occasion the water from the shower and especially the taps was a little cooler than I might have liked.

The pool area is massive and we enjoyed lounging around. There is only one bar in the centre, although we did have one waiter who would always bring us a drink. The pools were very clean- we saw them being cleaned daily- but the water was freezing. This seems to be common in Egypt, but I don't know why.

You do get pestered when sitting round the pool by the ladies in the spa who want to give you a massage/haircut/shave for the gents, by guys offering various trips on boats or quad bikes and by people wanting you to leave the hotel that night to watch a show in another bar. All of these are obviously at an extra cost. None of the prices seemed extortionate- in fact they were pretty good value- e.g. about £50 for an hour massage followed by Turkish Hammam- I think that's pretty good- and they were polite but very persistent. In the end we found the best thing was just to say 'no, thank you, we really aren't interested, sorry', which is hard to do and be polite, but once you do that then they do leave you alone.

The waterpark is good fun- several of the slides were permanently open and, again, because the hotel was not too full, you never had to wait. I can imagine it would be a nightmare in busy times. The beach is gorgeous- sometimes the tide is right out and you can walk in the sand for up to a km before you reach it. There are lovely loungers with windbreaks- it does get blowy sometimes. There is also a pier to walk along. There was a beach bar which looked pretty nice but we never had the need to visit it.

The hotel itself has got a lot of facilities, tennis courts, a la carte restaurants (which you can make one visit to one during your stay) and a lot of things you have to pay extra for like a bowling alley. There is a shopping arcade with one useful shop (a supermarket selling gifts, chocolate, sweets, crisps, cigarettes and postcards) and several luxury goods shops- a jewellers, a perfume shop and a watch shop amongst others. We bought some perfume which was expensive in itself but good value for what you are getting. The hotel is also trying to always get you to pay extra by offering you fresh juices, popcorn etc. although again none of these are unreasonable in cost.

We used the buffet restaurant for all our meals and I would say it had positives and negatives. On the plus side, everything we ate was delicious and clearly freshly prepared. At breakfast there was an omelette station and a pancake station as well as loads of delicious pastries and all the usual items. Remember- no pork so no sausages or bacon. At dinner there were always fresh chips, fresh pasta and sauces, an outdside bbq grill and a lady making wonderful fresh bread which was just delicious.

On the downside, the food was repetitive. There was never much variety from day to day (although there was plenty within each meal). This didn't bother us as we knew everything would be nice and that we would find something we liked, but this isn't the kind of hotel you should go to if you want a different gourmet dinner every night. I think you have to accept that isn't going to happen in a place of this size and on the budgets they probably operate to.

There was an animation team who did entertainment every night and activities in the day but we prefer to just sit about, expecially of an evening. It was lovely on the outside terrace above the main restaurant, overlooking the pool, having a couple of drinks. The rose wine was good as was the lager and spirits, personally I found the white wine disgusting but I think it was maybe to cater more for the German guests. Also, there doesn't seem to be so much of a concept of juice- if you ask for vodka and orange you get vodka and orange squash! Use fizzy instead- you can help yourself to that too! We had a lovely regular waiter, Abu, who was such a nice guy and taught us some Arabic, and told us a bit about life in Egypt. We had a hilarious discussion about the weather in the UK, he couldn't really grasp the concept of temeratures much lower then 20 degrees! We gave him a tip at the end of the holiday which is something we have never done before as we really thought the service he gave us was exceptional.

Overall there were a couple of little annoyances here and there, most of which I have mentioned, I think the only thing I have omitted is that there is no bottled water in the hotel other than what you are given every day in your mini-bar. Apart from that you have to help yourself by the glass which is annoying as it's so hot and really you should be drinking a good couple of litres a day or more if you have had a drink the previous night!

Overall we have said we would return to the Titanic Beach but ironically it probably suited us a lot better for being so quiet. It is a place that would attract families and I think when you are a couple away together you don't always want that. We would definitely go at this time of year but I think if it was busier we would have less of a good time. There are a few little maintenance issues and the hotel could do with a smarten up but with things as they are and relatively few guests you can't be surprised. Also, most of the staff are in sailor's uniforms to continue the 'Titanic' theme with different colours for different types of jobs. It all felt a bit retro and I did feel sorry for them sometimes. It can't be easy to clean a room while wearing a brown sailor suit.

I would say to people, if you are thinking of going to Egypt, please do. The Red Sea are is perfectly safe and the people are so lovely.

Came for friends birthday.and as with lots if hotels in Egypt we found the hotel quiet.its a very large hotel attatched to titanic palace by a corridor.so was very. Welcoming.bit busi second week.we expected because of the lack if tourists to have a better service but no.just little things you expect like waiters at dinner asking if you'd like drinks.or drinks service round the pools and stuff.bits you expect from a so called 4 star.non of it.unless you befriend a barman which we did I. The titanic palace pool area.called Ahmed.he is great.and friendly.now a few tops to save you some cash.firstly for ringing home get a egyptian SIM I got vodaphone it costs about 2.00 fir a sum and you can top up from 10-200 Egyptian pounds and calls home cost abt 20p min.also for internet get one if the phone shops to put a set on for you I got 4.5 gig fir 15.00 English.and only used abt 3=but well worth it.het your cigarettes from the duty free area when you go to collect baggage.cheapest place in hurghada.if not then pay about 12-13 English per sleeve.hotel shops are pricey for everything so avoid.big fixed prices place down the road called Cleopatra very reasonably priced for everything.the marina is a must for young and old.loads of place to eat and drink and not to expensive.our greatest saving while in holiday was Nasser.and his battered 8 seater car.more comfy for 6 though.but cheaper than any taxi.from hotel or outside.took us to hurghada often fir less than 10.00 fir 6 and doesn't mind what time u get back.its an old beat up car but sound engine.we went to el gouna fir a night out got us there no probs and collected us nxt day.he is sound friendly and full office local knowledge
So back to the hotel.we had a water park with 4 slides working and was great fun as quiet I think at busy time wil be a nightmare.as for food.always hot.not much variety.but plenty.mainly veg and fish.we tried al a carte in 2 restaurants the Italian wasn't to bad.Pizza and pasta starters were better than mains.which was chicken overdone and a sliced beef in egg batter.??? The other lebonese.was even weirder.lentil soup starter nice.but mixed grill main overdone chewey meats.and both restaurants served the courses in less then 30 mins.was like a cattle market.not recommended.of course if you don't try you won't know.drinks are ok beer is chilled nicely think its watered down though as no real strength to it.the wine defo has water in it.as rose tasted like tap water.spirits all local and with the right mixer are palatable.again as quiet never waited more than few mins for a drink.one thing to ads this hotel is more than few mins from town its abiut 20_25 mins.at a god speed.have a god look Roun d hotel outside areas we found a mini golf course by titanic palaces restaurant.which we were not told if by rep or reception and its free.and one last warning one of our friends was taken ik and admitted to the hospital at side of hotel valed Thebes.she needed an operation for her gallbladder and her insurance company would not allow this hospital to do treatment.so make some checks before you travel just incase.they were with natwest who are only an agent fir another company.they had to move her to another hospital after 3 days and 1100.00 of treatment.where she was fir one day then released.no op just holiday stress.

Had two weeks here. Originally it was 9 days and 7 days Nile Cruise, But due to circumstances the Nile cruise was cancelled. We upgraded to a pool room which was lovely. The hotel was lovely and the staff were even friendlier. Only half full due to the troubles but we benefited by the fact that there was plenty of room in the restaurants, around the pool, on the beach, and the water park. We ate in the Chinese restaurant and the Italian restaurant and had a really good meal in both. Any problems were sorted out as soon as they were reported. Overall a really good holiday. We have been to Egypt 4 times now but would not go back to Hurgarda as we were not overly fussed with the area. We like Taba Heights and will go back there. We like to relax on our holiday but felt that in Hurgarda under normal circumstances we would not enjoy as it is too big and commercial for us.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a pool room, 10 euros per night extra. Well worth it though.

Stayed here 20th-27th September! Hotel itself is huge, and is joined to the titanic palace which was closed due to tourist numbers being low stemming from the trouble Egypt has had recently. It was nice for us that the hotel was over half empty, no queuing for slides, plenty of sunbeds. Disappointing that 2 restaurants were shut and the aqua park was by request however the guys were more than happy to open a slide for you. Food was ok, not much English catered for but even the fussiest will find something. Beach bar was nice and always quiet. Rafting river was great funny, did 3/4 laps each time as noone queuing! Many of the staff are very help and friendly, although some do pester a little bit. All in all I soul definitely go again!

Ill try to be as honest as possible , Really Loved the Rooms , Beach , Jetty (amazing sea) , Pools , Absolutley Loved the Waterpark which was always open from 10-17.00 , If a slide was not busy it would be turned off but there was always a guard to ask to switch it on !! Amazing time in the waterpark though !! I have been to Egypt many times but never to Hurghada , so i am used to what to expect but i do agree with other reviews the Food isnt up to much , But dont let this put you off in any way or panic you if you have booked , Basically when i arrived the first part of the week Only the 1 main resteraunt called "Jack "was open , to be honest i wasnt shocked at the quality of the food just the choice , Very limited options in my Opinion , But went to the a la carte resteraunts most nights , again i agree with a previous review you are sought of sped fed as if everyone was in a hurry , But this didnt bother me in the slightest !! Towards the end of the week (when other EU Countries lifted their travel ban and started flying to Hurghada again ) You could sense the Mood lift in the complex and lots more people arriving , Hence the other resteraunts opening ("Rose " which was much better )
For the price i payed for the Hotel for the week as i booked flights all separate etc , i feel it was a bargain and would definitely go back if i came across another good deal , reading the last few reviews about Titanic Palace being closed and only the Titanic Beach being open , Yes that is true but you could still use all the Pools etc of the Titanic Palace but at this stage not their resteraunts , But all facilities and a la carte resteraunts of the Titanic Palace remaind open !! Did a excursion through (White Shark Travel Egypt ) to Makadi Waterworld Waterpark had a fab time and was well worth the 45 us dollars fee , that included all pick up , all inclusive and entry into the waterpark there , was a real laugh and a change of scenery !! Back to the Titanic Beach , Loved the rooms (yes not real 5 star ) but really spacious , lovely Balcony and Pool views and also 2 English Movie Channels (Fox Movies and NBC2 ) At first i was annoyed at the Food but just accepted it got on with it and it did improve , The Drinks was always good and never a issue , lots of self service stations and good choice of alcohol , If you have been to Egypt before all inclusive you will be fine and have a good holiday !! Also WIFI was 4 Euros for 30 Minutes and 6 Euros for the Hour for a WIFI pass !! Staff was Hit and Miss but mostly Friendly Chatty and Approchable !! Not one bad stomach at all as long as you wash your hands and dont stay in the Sun all day drinking ive never had a problem in Egypt regarding "Egyptian Tummy " neither has my partner ! Hurghada airport is a lot more calmer than the chaos of Sharm's airport !! Rememebr your 15 us dollar visa , which turned out to be 20 us dollars with my transfer supplier , but again no issue !! Weather was amazing all week not 1 clous in site !! Would have no issue recommending as long as you dont expect the world and have no demands you ll be fine !! also as you probably have read in other reports McDonalds do deliver to all Hotels in Hurghada , go and see the Telephone Operator (1 us dollar for the call ) to ring them , they deliver within 15 minutes (not on a sunday ) we fancied a change 1 night and payed about £4 for a Big Mac Meal , i know this sounds real British but as we got back from the waterpark excursion it had been a long day and just fancied watching Movies and Chill out in the room with a McD's !!
Flew Thomas cook airlines out from LGW flight time 4.37 mins really old aircraft and not much leg room but that was to be expected , flew Easy Jet home flight time was 5.30 minutes coming back , Much Nicer brand new aircraft that only had been in service 7 weeks , New seat design that gave you much better leg room .
Also one last thing when you arrive , All Inclusive you normally get a Red Braclet this entitles you to everything etc and only 1 visit to a a la carte per week , if you speak nice to reception you get a Blue Braclet which is VIP you then get 3 visits to any a la carte per week and also entry to the VIP Chill Out Lounge with Bar etc !!
and 1 last thing to clarify there are 3 Titanics not for you to panic which 1 your in , You have the PRIMASOL TITANIC RESORT AND AQUA PARK , and then the TITANIC BEACH and TITANIC PALACE Resort and Aqua Park , the Titanic BEACH AND PALACE are joined together and share pools and beach and waterparks , and when the Titanic Palac reopens you would have the benifit of choosing to eat there aswell , you can still use Pools now though , but as i said you noticed the difference in numbers as soon as the EU Countries lifted their travel ban on October 1st !! Regards to safety absolute no issues at all Hurghada felt very safe and please do not worry at all .

I've just returned from a family holiday to the Titanic Beach Resort and Aqua Park! Firstly the staff there are the most friendliest of people and will do their utmost to help you enjoy your stay! The animation team deserve a mention as they played a big part in the good times we had whilst there but after that things were far from good! The hotel in general was kept very clean and tidy and the pool and filters cleaned though out the day. Sunbeds always available and towels provided.The hotel over all requires a major overhaul, all outdated and worn, rusty showers and flooding drains in the bathrooms, Health hazard. The help of general maintenance would be a great asset to this hotel. Due to the disturbances in Egypt the hotel was only half full with mainly British holiday makers, NOT GOOD! for this reason the amenities were cut to the bare minimum, I assume this was to save costs as business is far from good. The food was the worst I have come across on my trips abroad, we don't expect a gourmet style meal just something edible which this in the main was not. A Babies high chair in the Main dining room, Three of them only one open, had the back of the seat nailed together with three inch nails, still sticking out of the side of it and very dangerous for anyone let alone a baby!!! The lift turned off, not broken turned off. The water feature out the front of the hotel was only switched on for one day when they were expecting the other tourists to arrive from Russia and Germany two days before our departure! lighting in the corridors and MAIN stairwell to the FAMILY rooms was turn off at around 22:30 so stairs or not children/babies or not you had to battle the stairwell in the dark! The Aqua park was, in the main closed! you had to request a slide be turned on so you could use it, around six-eight rings available to service four-five slides! the river rapids were turned on for twenty minutes twice a day 11:00 and 15:00! I appreciate they are suffering losses with the economy at the minute but we still payed the same price to visit this hotel and received a far less service with less amenities available. We went on a family holiday in a party of thirteen including five children! Very disappointing!! to say the least!!
